Today, September 14, I have received an email from the embassy instructing me to forward our passports and completed Appendix A.. It's already a PPR!!!!    YAHOOOOO!!!! God is good all the time! Praise be to God... Hi Mandie, kindly update the tracker in your free time.. I've already put above the date of my PPR, and it is accurate. Sounds unbelievable but it's real.. Whether VO Manila rocks or a lady luck just smiling at me, but my resolve is someone's hands from up above is responsible for all of this. He is guiding me to my Ontario journey... Thank you very much for all the prayers, insights and advises from all the selfless and warmhearted individuals in this forum. You carried me through to my journey... To those in waiting, your turn will come very soon! God bless us all! Ontario Journey Congratulations OJ, It was really quick, and Manila VO has started setting a series of records. Wish you a Happy life in Canada...
One of my friends is April applicant and his e-case is RBVO, he changed his spouse Passport due to the expire date less than 6 month to travel overseas. I like to ask seniors ...he has to inform VO urgent? or Can he email a copy of old or new passport by email or he must submit the copies himself to VO.

Will the processing time gets any faster if we have applied to an agency? Base from everyone's stats, who got the fastest processing time? The one who applied directly by themselves or via agency? I'm afraid that I am just relying on the ECAS because I haven't received a snail mail from VO. My stat is RBVO since June 2011. thanks Pls update my stat. Applied on April 6, 2011 Got an email on May 6 ( draft check in cash- positive eligibility review..) June 2011 my stat is RBVO. I never reveived a mail/email from VO.  Hi Agents do not have any influence over the time or outcome of the Application. They merely compile the application (if they are wise and competent) and forward it to CIO. THATS IT...rest is the same, except that all communication comes through the agent, which delays it further (other than email). Applying self is the best route. Applications and Guides are self explanatory. If an agent says that they can have it speed up the process, then either his name should be "Jason Kenney" or he is taking you for a ride |
