Today Ecas started showing my address as well,
Client Application Status says,
We received your application for permanent residence on May 26, 2011.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on July 21, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
I dont know why didnt they send an e-mail? Anyway waiting for everything to be cleared in the best manner!

Nashe, I can imagine what you are going through in regard to this, delays can be very annoying but i feel is for a reason. just keep hoping and praying for it. in a matters of days you will receive yours. |

Olive It is almost like i got mine, Yaa i was told on friday, that CIO are now working on the pending cases and have reached on the cases received at 4th of May,(and are pending). It means they have passed 9th May now Thank everyone and specially Mandie ( She is such a healing mentor). @ nashe, harry & mandie,
The NER state that " I am not satisfied that you have performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the position as described in NOC...
Note: Any reference to work experience in a NOC code other than those identified by the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration and published in the Canada Gazette on June 26, 2010 is not assessed for eligibility under Ministerial Instructions"
The wordings of "a substantial number" is difficult to understand. How much % of duties listed will be "substantial". I don't have degree in social work but I have worked in development for nearly 7 years.
About another question on IELTS
I have some work experience under 1122, so the lawyer said I might apply under this. But right now, I am really doubt of this possibility.
As my original IELTS transcript was submited with the previous application, i checked with the British Council but they said they could only send directly to the institution. I don't know if they accept it that way or they will judge it as imcomplete submission.
In a safe way, I need to retake the IELTS test if i go for this option.
Looking forwards to your advice
