There is a computer system that stores all the information. Remmeber CAIPS notes?
So when you will send another application, they will have info available to them at a press of Enter (hopefully).
In the system everything is entered. SO I guess it wont be that difficult to locate the IELTS score etc.

28.07.2011 a have answer from cic.

you do not meet the requirements for immigration to Canada.

Points assessed 66. just 1 point and everything will all right in my application. I need only 5 point in English test, but they accept only 4 point,  because I have 3 basic and 1 moderate mark, and I thing that I will take 3 point for basic and 2 for moderate, and total mark will be 5.  BUT accept only 4, because in EG7 form from official site  is written

Either official language: 1 (maximum of 2)

it's mean that they accept 2 my basic point instead of 3 which I have.
So I do not meet the requirements for immigration to Canada.

next ... I will pass the test in higher level and send one more application.
It no problem, but I have lost more then half year ... it is very shame for me ... but I have no way ... i should do it.

@  Pitt ... dont give up. You are doing well to get through the IELTS and obtain higher score.

Now you know where you stand. And if the Points are more, you will be in for a PR Smiley SO look at the bring side.

@   Mitali, I don't understand why you think CIO will not accept another copy of IELTS from the British Council knowing very well they have the original? Certainly don't expect ppl to do it again when they vey well passed the first time! With an authentic duplicate from BC, along with NER letter which clearly indicates his points for language proficiency, I believe he is good to go...Mandie
?
Thing is one does not know if his application has been despatched to be returned. If it is in transit, then he is just gonna waste his time doing the above. But if he can get a copy, the. It saves all he the time and take away any uneasiness. Maybe he can find out if his application has been despatched yet.... Mandie

Hi Mandie,

I agree that a DUPLICATE of IELTS from BC will work. I thought we were talking about a copy like a photocopy if IELTS. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

 @ devilhimselff

I know CAIPS captures all the information and HOPEFULLY they have a system to retrieve all information. As far as I know CIC does not retain any info for applications not approved at CIO stage.

Please correct me if I am wrong. Just want to be cautious before I give out suggestions.

 @  all,

Thanks all for advice and support to my case. I think I will try to send IELTS records to one of my friend's organization to pick it up. Need to think whom could collect for me.

I might need to review my case carefully before going any further, including reapplying under a new NOC. I don't want to repeat the same mistake.

 @  nashe,
I think i have a limited account here so I cannot send PM. Could you send me your email? Thanks

@ Mitali, CIO retains appl's info so far as they go thru the eligibility review. Thaz why someone with NER even has application number. Info is not retained if application is returned as a result of incompleteness or cap being filled....Mandie

@  Pitt, so sorry to hear ur news. Usually when 1 or 2 points is short,  ur best bet is to improve IELTS (if 16 points not accrued) to achieve the 67 points. Chin up and good luck....Mandie

Pitt, I am sorry to hear that... There must be a reason why this happened to you.. Keep the faith.

My status changed to in process today.  Yesterday, it was CIO-ER Complete.  It states there that they started reviewing my case since July 28, 2011.
I noticed that it didn't passed RBVO.
