If your writing is anything to go by, you definitely need IELTS, lol..just kidding  Tongue

Anyway, no one is exempt from taking that test.....so you need IELTS if you want to apply for FSW. Did you say u were born in Canada?
There are no exceptions to this rule. We want to ensure that all applicants are evaluated against the same standards, no matter what their language of origin, nationality or ethnicity.

If you were born in canada why would you need to take the IELTS for immigration purposes?  Are you thinking for college admission?  I'm a little confused by your post.

Ok I understand now.  I think you'd have to check with the particular college/uni you want to apply to.  From my understanding, here in the states only international students that primary language of instruction is not english needs to take a language exam like TOEFL.  Since you are a Canadian citizen and will graduate from canadian high school you probably won't need to.  But I could be wrong, so check with the colleges and your high school's guidance counselor.

In Process usually means VO is doing a background check. MR follows within 1-2 months in most cases. Some have been in process for eternity. Do you have about 3-4 lines in ur ecas. Does it states the date they started processing?
Mandie

It only mentioned that they received it on sep 13, 2011.. However on dec 13 2011, i received also my PER... What should i xpect next?

Thanks

Boş ver Smiley  Benim türkçim cok az, kusura bakama.  Ben turk değilim, benim kocam turk.  I think I understand that you're looking for help with practicing for your IELTS right?  I had to take the exam too, I did study for it using sites that I found via google search.  They were really helpful, I am a native speaker of English but I studied prior to the test.  I wasn't really worried about any of the sections besides listening, which I practiced at using the sites.  I got 9 band on my test, but that is really not saying much as I only speak english.  Here are some of the sites....

Important thing is practice, practice, practice. Good Luck and I hope I understood your question correctly.

Sorry I misunderstood your question (google translate wasn't that accurate) LOL I've no idea if you can be excused from the exam, sorry.  If the universities state that you need to take then I guess you would have to take it.  Check with admissions counselor at the universities to see what you can do to get an exemption.  A forum on Canadian immigration might not be the best place to get your questions answered.
