Dear OJ,

Thanks for you time and reply but, few poits require more clarification if you could ....

3. I believe my qualifications for NOC 7216 suits almost 95% of CIC requirements.
That's ok but for this trade only secondary level education should suffice, i want to know whether you are post secondary (meaning overqualified) or exactly what is required!!
6.Yes, being the important requirements I did provided those information including the number of hours worked, company benefits (aside from salaries), profile of the company, etc.
How about the business card, did you attach it !!
Thanks

Many congrats ...actungbabyk and seema, best of luck ahead.

Wake up LONDON VO pls.... Smiley
Dear Hasni,

I am a bachelors degree holder and yes, I have attached a business card on the work experience document. If you're asking what exactly is required for NOC 7216, the CIC's guidelines on Work Experience is very clear that you must have at least one year of full-time paid work experience (or the equivalent in part-time), and you must have performed most of the duties including all the essential duties that are listed for the occupation. Therefore educational level is a non-factor in the Work Experience criteria when assessing points, however it is significant on the Education criteria.

Hope I was able to clarify the matter.

Mandie,

Please have a look at the post on July 2011 thread regarding In process status
The above information is from ECAS FAQ - the web page of which was modified on Sept 19, 2011..

So, it all makes sense now... what I think...

1. Those who have In Process without PER - are In Process or in queue at CIO Sydney
2. Those who have In Process with PER without RBVO - are in Process to Visa Office...
3. Those who are In Process after RBVO - wait for MR!!!

One of our forum members had mentioned this earlier too..

I have checked the FAQ page modified on 2011-09-19, https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/redir.do;jsessionid=F7992C3EE56B8AFA3FB481A03DD073AF?redir=faq_ecas&lang=en&app=ecas

and also the Client application status page
https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/redir.do?redir=app_perm_fam&lang=en&app=ecas

Maybe prior to this modification, status shows RBVO after receiving PER, whereas nowadays it directly goes to In Process, this is my inference, What do you think?HuhHuhHuh

I won't worry too much about post July applicants. This is the reason why:

Q13: Why has the status of my application not changed even though it has been a long time since I submitted it and I know that things have happened with my file?

A13: It is normal for some actions to not be reflected in CAS for many weeks due to the volume of information received at the visa offices and the case processing centres.
In many cases, an in-process file is actually waiting in a queue for initial review as applications are handled in the order they are received and on a case-by-case basis. The waiting time in this initial queue can be lengthy, depending on the standard processing times. Applications are processed according to the Application Processing Time at a given location.

In addition, other actions happening to your file are not shown on CAS (example: security checks) so it may appear as though nothing is happening to your file.
