Hi All,
       I received PPR from Ottawa office finally after sending them so many emails and asking as to when ill receive the ppr and calling the toll free number frequently.so all the hard work spent in following up payed off.

But the problem is I'm not in the us,I'm in India.is there a way to mail the passport from India?or do I have to send it through someone?

Congrats first.

You can send your passport via Fedex or DHL. Though it would be wise to contact immigration office as to whether you can send it to your nearest visa office in India just to avoid confusion. Wish you speedy process.

Bhanump is right.. Please ask them how to send original passports.

In Pakistan you can not send original passports out of country. Our VO is london but we submit our passports in Islamabad office for Visa Stamping.

I found answer to my own question and thought sharing may be helpful to all having similar timelines about ppr and Visa issuance. Looks like it takes any where between couple days to 15 days for stamping after PPR as seen in couple of cases on the link. Good Luck to all of us waiting for our PRS.

1st aor 20th oct 2010.
2nd aor 12th aug 2011
Medical request April 23rd
Medical done 7th may
Medicals received shown on July 3rd
Noc code 0213

They key to fast processing is send them email stating that a company in Canada is offering job in couple of months but only when you are an immigrant.

Keep sending emails and call them.

I got my GCMS report yesterday. Following are the main points to share:

Application group name  - MI1 RFV Docs pending
Points awarded by the VO – 77
Selection Status – Passed
Security Status – BLANK
Criminality Status – IN PROGRESS
Comments by VO – Eligibility passed, Funds Met, Crim pending. ECD: Please issue med X 2, and request :-  Indian PCCs, RPRFs, PPTs
Last application update date: 01.06.2012

My question: Should I send them the PCCs right now without their request letter?? It might save some time in further processing.

You cannot send PCC without request of V Officer.

They have explicitly mentioned in their website & 2nd AOR to inform only when
     1.  Family composition change like marriage, divorce or birth of a child
     2. Change of mailing or email address.

I have been given 82 points and notes says Pls request the  following when instructed PPTs Current X4,Meds X4, RPRF X2 .PA has obtained sufficient points and will be well established economically in Canada.Proof of funds of,Crim Passes,History reviewed No concerns .FOSS check done.

Its only a matter of time. Medicals would be certainly issued to you. When?? That no one can predict

Dear All
I got medical examined on 29th June, and sent (via courier) London Visa office my updated police certificate and schedule A (back ground declaration) form dated June 30, 2012.

In my all initial forms (2009) and updated forms (June 2012) my employer remains same but on 1st July (Next Day after submitting Schedule A and police certificate) I resigned and joined another company same day.

Do I need to update Visa office regarding my new job or remain quite?
