congrats, u r on rite track.

cheers.

I received my CAIPS report today. It says

PSDEC:  1  (Done on the same day that my In process changed to the date)
SELDEC: 1  (Done on the same day that my In process changed to the date)
Points awarded: Age:10, Experience:21, Education:25, Language:14, Adaptability:5
Total: 75
BFD date is 01-06-2012 (Exactly 4 months from the date of In process)
IO comments:
PA has obtained sufficient points to satisfy me that he/she will be able to become economically established in Canada. I am satisfied that the points awarded to the applicant adequately reflect the applicants ability to settle in Canada.
PROOF OF SETTLEMENT FUNDS - MUST BE RE-CONFIRMED (This is in upper case)

ECU Please request the following:
- updated proof of funds
- PPT's
- Meds
- RPRF

Though I have sent my RPRF along with the documents and I have a receipt of the same, still the IO is requesting the ECU to request for RPRF. Also, RPRF received is mentioned in the CAIPS report. Also they mentioned that they sent me a receipt for RPRF.

With inprocess dates, we are on track. I hope, nothing to worry about backlog etc. We will reach our goal soon.

Hi Friends - Does this means Rules for total Eligibility points change based on Age, Canadian experience, Language  and Education  would apply for Pre-June applicants too ?? Or  Only priority on a specific occupation would be applied to Pre-June applicants.. if the 1st one is applicable to Pre-June then its a big big problem for many of us....

For example, the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) points system will be reformed to reflect the importance of younger immigrants with Canadian work experience and better official language skills. Furthermore, CIC will strengthen the assessment of educational credentials to ensure that immigrants are closer to being ready to work upon arrival in Canada. FSW applicants will have their foreign educational credentials assessed and verified abroad as a part of the application process.

Today, Minister Kenney announced two additional changes that will help transform Canada's immigration system. One proposed change would help CIC ensure FSW applicants meet current labour market needs. It would allow new rules set out in Ministerial Instructions to apply to people who have already submitted an application. For example, instructions could place a priority on a specific occupation, such as doctors, and have existing applications from doctors processed first, regardless of where they are in the queue.

A similar change would allow new regulations, once approved, to apply retrospectively to people who have already submitted an application.

Hello Seniors,

Please tell me what are the test that are performed in medical examination. I learned that it is Physical examination, Blood test, Urine test and X-rays. I wanted to ask if ECG, ultrasound or CT scan or MRI also performed during medical examination.

Yes, sinhasharat

Canada cannot afford newly entered people with no jobs and getting burdened to their economy.
In coming months, or I should say they have already started the practice of issuing MR's to those whose practical needs are being felt by every Canadians everyday; e.g doctors, mining workers etc. No more families and individuals into Canada just because they applied and stay unemployed.

Canada want their growing population to survive and get medical treatments rather than having 1000's of IT workers making softwares.

Hi GUys,
           Few questions -
1. Got a letter from the canadian office Detroit. They requested the right to permanent residence fee USD 490. I have applied for me and my wife for canadian PR. My question is i have to submit just USD 490 or USD 980 ?
2. Does any one know how long it takes to get FBI clearance in the US ? If yes what is the best way to get it done ?
3. How long does it take to get the PCC from the Indian embassy at Washington DC ?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks
Desiguy79

WOOOOW, so your application has been approved already? I checked and found out that the fees they are a sing for is applied when ur application is approved: check this paragraph from CIC website

The Right of Permanent Residence fee

You will need to pay this fee if your application to immigrate as a skilled worker is approved. It covers you and your accompanying spouse or common-law partner, if applicable. It must be paid before Citizenship and Immigration Canada issues your permanent resident visa. This fee is refundable if you cancel your application or if you do not use your visa.

You need to pay 980 of urself and ur wife but nothing for ur children if u have any.

Congratulations, which category? dates?

Payal,

Many reported sending Medical reports but still to get PPR's.
CIC is taking a long time to process Medical these days.
This waiting game has many faces for both type of applicants.

Ah, I read this yesterday while I was leaving office & after that I had shut down my lappy & didn't bother to look at the name of the blogger. Well how couldn't I guess that it was an obviously fabricated input from Mr. Jnathan. But if Canadian govt also thinks like this then i guess that they "need a change". If this is what they are thinking on the crust level then they are simply not caring about the core.

If only they could use their wits to realise that things are interlinked now atleast medical science & Information Technology. Imagine they have bulk of doctors handling health system on the front end & they reach even to the remotest part of the country where Technology is not a promt requirement but medical facility is a dire requirement. Now will they not require latest technology & equipments to stay connected & upgraded ?

If at a remote place a doctor is required then u can't completely rule out that a Technical Person is not required. Rather if a doctor is not available at X location then Technology can make the doctor virually present Thanks to technology !!! Video Conferencing... Courtesy .. IT &  Networking via Terrestrial Link, Radio Link or satellite link.

I have a live example implemented by me in which a remote village of Punjab is connected with E-Health Services, last mile is connected on Radio Frequency then connected through Optical Fibre link & doctors from any part of the country sitting in their nursing home cabins, provide consultation to the villagers of a remote village. Now what made the doctor in New Delhi reach a remote village in Punjab? .... Technology.... Who provided this facility? IT people. Who will maintain & trouble shoot this link & ensure that medical services of a doctor are available to remote locations all the time ?... IT people.

This could be an example for a city also. Technology & medical sciences go hand in hand these days. Anybody who defies or support this fact please blog your replies.

Canadian Dreams,

Very good analogy but these are the things they had been watching out

1. Medical Doctors are a regulated profession in Canada and my guess is 99 out of 100 fail to pass those licensing exams in Canada and soon medicine and medical terms become a history for them. I'd be glad if anyone had any data on the success rate on passing those exams by the immigrants.

2. With the growing population , they first must ensure licensed doctors, schools, qualified North American standard teachers, Scientists and technicians for their emerging oil, gas, high tech industries.

They have injected plenty of IT workers from 2008-2011 June. I have been active in this forum and rigorously been watching out the practices carried out for different NOC professionals. visa issuance for IT professionals topped among Accountants/Finance Managers. With the stalled situation of their economy , they are being failed to increase the number of making new jobs for these people, remember, Canadians dont want their own graduates to appear on 100 interviews and fail to secure a job. They want a healthy situation to prevail in their job market so that vacant Job numbers always stay far more than the number of aspirant applicants. At the same time they are opting temporary applicants for whom they are not bound to provide the tax payer free health care system. Immigrants admitting to Canada have surely been struggling for the last few years, with a family of 2-5 but only one paying taxes yet all of them enjoying all the federal government services e.g free schooling, health care as I said.

My Posts are not eyeing to any particular NOC, nor I am the VO, a legislator or Minister of Immigration.
They are just my insight after analyzing the articles, Speeches by CIC.

Better watch these videos. in one My Kenney seemed to have appeared at a very early morning.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wox3WqqfJY8

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LVjnW6IsAAs

Watch out, some parts of his speeches reflects how fierce he is on people who have not been contributing to Canada yet living there.
