I do not understand, what are you talking about UCI12345678 Number in your 2nd AOR. UCI1234578 and B123456789 are the two numbers printed in my 1st AOR just below the date of the letter and later inside the letter it was written that "Your reference number is located below the date of this letter. You must quote this reference number in any future correspondence." and in my 2nd AOR they quoted the above two numbers just below the date along with some bar code imprinted just below each (UCI# on left, B# on right). Apart from that, they provided another number B987654321 which is a new number and inside the letter it was written that "Our office has created a file for you with the file number pasted above. Please note that this file no is different than the one that was assigned to you by the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada. You must quote this file number for any future correspondence with our office."
However, unfortunately, I am also unable to access my e-cas by the file number provided in my 2nd AOR as well.
I am very eager to know the timelines, Visa Office, Application category and NOC of any person who can access the e-cas status with the new file number.
Please response.
INDIANA JONES.
Hi, I have also got the two numbers (a) UCI and (b) B05XXXXXXX in my 1st AOR. I am tracking my ecas status with B05XXXXXX number. I still don't know what is UCI for. If anyone got the idea, please share. Thanking in advance. Regards, Rabin

The UCI number mean Unique Client Identification. you can also use it to track your ecase. Instead of file number which start with B=========, JUST highlight UCI and type your number
Good luck

I applied in April 2010. No reply after 2nd AOR. Almost one and half years have passed since waiting. No one knows how much more time.
I have started a good business with some amount from my bank deposit. I can redeposit money in my account when needed. But the problem is that the amount in bank account is reduced from required POF.
Kindly suggest what should be done? Either freeze amount in bank account and freeze all current activities and wait for Canadian visa Or can we use our money for business purpose and redeposit money when needed by visa office?
Kindly suggest?

HI, I have also opened a FD of 16,000 CAD a year ago. It is now about to expire. I am thinking of using that money in other purposes (e.g. business, stock) as it is not sure when do we get MR. When nothing is sure, why should we freeze our money. I think we should use some portion of the required fund. Please suggest.

This is what I got from VO...not a good news but I wanted to share with all future fellow Canadians - CIC is working to closely manage arrivals in Canada, so that we meet, but do not exceed the immigration levels plan set by Parliament last fall for 2011. Since we have larger inventories than room within the immigration plan for admissions to Canada, we must stagger the review of applications throughout the year.
We do not anticipate that we will begin to process federal skilled worker applications from April 2010 during the current calendar year.

I think this is applicable for all because the its the overall limit they are monitoring irrespective of which VO is handeling the cases. This is my understanding unless anyone else differs. Thanks

Hi all,
I got GCMS notes yesterday , the last time visa officer worked on my file was 01/08/11, it says preparation review completed , IELTS and Age points given verified, educational and experience letter appears genuine, FOSS check done.
I would appreciate your comments, if the visa officer mentioned that the documents appear genuine then there is still a chance for employment verification.
