how are you? any updates?
Vincelynn!!!! Hello! After 5 months, I finally received a second letter from London. They gave me a new file number. Per the letter, they need to futher determine my eligibility before my application can be placed in process. Hay nku! Even so...i'm still happy! By the way, when I received the letter, my address in ECAS has been missing for 2 weeks or so. I guess, for SOME, missing address can mean good news. I hope you receive your MR soon!  |

Hi, I am June 2010 applicant. Sent full docs to VO London on Jan 31, 2011 and now after waiting for almost 4.5 months, this is the reply that I have received in response to my enquiry:

Unfortunately, it will take longer to process Federal Skilled Worker applications submitted under the first set of instructions (between February 27, 2008 and June 25, 2010) than originally projected.
During this time, the department received applications for more than 425,000 people, and 144,000 of these have not yet received a decision.
This number represents more than twice the number of projected admissions under the Federal Skilled Worker program in 2011, so many of these applicants will have to wait two years or more to be processed. Because they reflect Canada's current labour market needs, applications under the most recent set of ministerial instructions are processed on a priority basis.
Our office sends immigration decisions and information requests by post or by email to the mailing and email addresses provided in the application. Therefore, it is important that our office be notified immediately of any change of address and contact details.
We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

i got this reply from CHC LOndon when i sent them an email regarding my 2nd AOR....my full docs were rcvd on 15th feb 2011 anyone else got such a reply...:s me tensed

I don't think that address disappearance will make difference because I just got the 2nd AOR recently and when I opened my ecas with the old file no. There is no address and I cannot open it with the new file no.

I saw in some blog that the address disappearing means they will not give the option to change the address as they are sending some letters to us. so that they will remove the address and they will send us some news. i is purely my opinion.
