Dear Coolguy, Processing timeline is 1 year. and i got an email from my agency..the AOR is sent by post...but hopefully as this time has passed so will the processing time too. Since your time line is same as mine you too will soon sharing this good news with us.. I just wanted to know that do the cic CALLS THE bank to inquire the settlement funds status...there is not constant balance for the settlement funds...i am trying to keep my funds intact since i got my 2nd AOR now.... please guide peers. Hi Marchie, Nothing to worry about funds. In my case also, I don't have full funds in banks as I have withdraw some of that. Since it will take 12month for processing, you can gradually save the funds. CIC will not enquire the bank about your funds. Regards Cool

There's a lot to thank for us in the FSW38. In my case for instance, my NOC is not present when the FSW29 was released. More over the quota is really something to consider. They have cut it in half resulting into limited visa release even more. So, for those who are waiting, please hang on. The papers will be processed and your visa will soon arrive. In the meantime, you may want to read related information for Canada Immigration <- Here

Hello Cool, I m not totally agree with you. Cause, CIC can check any time your bank. Usually, They don't do that. However, they have the right to check with your bank. Furthermore, they can cancel your application for insufficient amount in ur bank Account. Naturally, they check with ur bank after got the status " In Process ". Therefore, keep safe and try to deposit amount required. Only God will help us. Robin

Hi Robin, CIC don't have rights to access anybody's bank account without the person concern. To be specific, you need to have minimum 75% of funds in banks in order to satisfy VO requirement. I have seen many cases (including my relatives) where people withdrawn all funds after showing statements and they have visited Canada also. This is only an view from my side. Whether to take it , its upto the person to decide. Regards Cool

Dear Punam,
The AOR is sent via post...if you have hired an agency the agency will receive all corrospondances on your behalf and then the agency can scan the letter and the envelope copy and send an email to you confirming your AOR NUMBER..r This what has happened in our case....

There is no harm to send an enquiry to VO. In my case its 7 months and I didnt get my 2nd AOR. so, I send them an enquiry and they informed me that my AOR was already sent by post in March (4.5 months after my submission) but the letter till now didnt reach me.

9.5. Procedure - Final determination of eligibility for processing If the applicant submits a complete application and supporting documents, replace the CIO file number with a visa office file number. Please refer to ―Information about CAIPS release 40.2‖ Appendix B of OB 120. It is essential to follow the instructions above in order to identify cases in which complete applications and supporting documents are received. It is necessary to identify these cases for reporting and evaluation purposes. Before placing the application into processing, review the information on the file and determine whether it meets the criteria in the Ministerial Instructions. To be eligible for processing under these Instructions, the applicant must qualify under one of the three categories described in the Ministerial Instructions (see section 8.3 for further details).
Does the above information means that points are calculated to be eligible or it just simply means that "one has one year experience in the NOC" (THE MINISTERIAL ONSTRUCTIONS) The visa office assesses the applicant‘s submission as is. Visa officers should proceed directly to a final determination against the MI. If the application is determined to be eligible for processing, the case should proceed directly to selection decision based on the information on file. No followup request for missing documents related to selection is required (please see section 11.10 for information about the one exception to this instruction). Any documents or information required to complete the admissibility review should be requested once SELDEC is passed. Missing admissibility documents should not hold up the final determination of eligibility or selection review. If the applicant‘s submission is insufficient to determine that the application is eligible for processing, a negative determination of eligibility should be rendered.
