Don't worry too much. For CEM, there are many that had PPR and DM's on the end of month of May. For FSW38, visa releasing, before it was 6-7 months prior to expiration, now it has been reduced to 4 months. So start making your preparation even if your papers are still being processed. Thanks for the post, that expain the cruel logic .. shame on policy maker who forgot to put a cap .. how can you ignore such basic point. So we should prepare to wait for next 1 year or more...... I should have applied for Australia that time.. such as life. |

Guys I got a small confusion I applied in May 2010, submitted full application in Dec 2010 to New Delhi Visa Office, received 2nd letter on 18 Jan 2010 (letter dated 12Jan 2010), since than (almost) my application is in RBVO & Pending review in ECAS. Today processing time for New Delhi is showing Visa Office: New Delhi - India Processing Times IN MONTHS Applications received BEFORE February 27, 2008: 85 Months  Applications received BETWEEN November 28, 2008 and June 25, 2010: 14 Monthsfrom when these 14 Months are calculated.... I Just wanted to estimate my wait   It is after one ubmit his full documents to visa office |

As i don't know if that mean they start processing my application or not, coz they said that it still pending review !!!!!!!

I think nothing has moved in your case yet because in my case also the status changed from RBVO to INPROCESS in Mid March but I have not received anything from NDVO yet |

Kabayan, It doesn`t matter if you are working in different field. their basis is your previous job. the one that you submitted. and plus factor that you have a job offer here in canada. like me my profession is way different from my current job. Well in fact Im a retail supervisor here in canada but in the philippines im in line with the construction. So no worries about that. MABUHAY!!!! |

Cuz i submitted mine on Feb 2011 and still no 2nd AOR....I am afraid London VO have stopped issuing 2nd AORs for those applicants who submitted their full documents from Oct. 2010 to date. This is the same question I asked in another thread. i wanted to know if there's any applicant who received 2nd AOR after full submission on Oct2010. Sad to say, i didn't get any positive reply....hmmmmmm.....very frustrating.
Good for you, you have a job offer. I read in one thread that a job offer makes a big difference. God Bless! Hope you realize your dreams soon.

I am a nurse by profession but I am getting another job will this job offer make a difference in my P.R application ?? I mean will it expedite the process i am fearful as its not the same job offer for what i applied as skilled worker....and I submitted all my documents in Jan 2011 still not got my 2AOR till date...I think they are too slow to respond as you rightly said...

It has been suggested that Canada is encouraging applications for the money. Get real! Canada is a rich country and the application fees are refundable. The amount received in this manner is a drop in the bucket. We spent $1 billion on the G8 and G20 summits. We are spending a fortune bombing Libya. We spend a lot of money on foreign aid and a vast fortune trying to bring civilization to Afghanistan. They may be many reasons why the system is so screwed up, but digging for dollars isn't one of them.
