In the latest update it was said that only 20000 people are going to be picked up in the next 12months with a max of 1000 per NOC.What criteria is used to determine those that would be given PR?

i am thinking they have not implemented it yet.The new rule was set in june 26.So those that applied before then should be excluded.Besides when does the counting of the 12 months start?

I applied for Alberta province.I am no longer interested in going to Alberta, i would prefer Ontario or Ottawa.is it possible to change it.Besides is it possible to go to another province and settle if i filled in another province in my form

I think it is not a problem. When you land in the Canadian Custom, the officer will ask you which city you want to settle in, and you can answer any city in Canada as you wish except the cities in Quebec. If your answer is a Qubec city, the officer will deny your entry and ask you to apply Qubec immigration. This is the story I heard. Wish help.

I disagree. I was planning to apply for Alberta as well but my consultant told me not to. As per him if I go through Alberta then I have to land and stay there for a period of 1 year before I can move to different city. Now I haven't done much research of my own .. But assuming canadian consultant would know better than me ..

Guys I got my AOR via email today, Thank God, so first hurdle is crossed let us see what happens next I pray to God that Everyone receive their AOR quicky so we all can start our next process,

hmm that is a pretty long and complicated process - but looks like u have it all under control and will be able to send it to your VO as soon as you get your AOR

In my case we have everything ready except for the FBI clearance which I believe will take atleast 8 more weeks - hopefully I should be able to send complete docs Sep End

Hi Alizia,

You are very right, VO consider 1st come 1st base.

All application receive their 1st AOR in about 60-90 days...........

PCC is valid for 3 month to 1 year, depend on countries......

I Lost mine 2 months for PCC & I submitted full doc in May instead of March otherwise I would have got the medical call by last month only.

Hence all are requested to keep their all documents ready & send them to local VO as soon as you receive your 1st AOR...............

Yeah I have all those docs ready - the problem is that i need a FBIc learance as well since my husband and I lioved in US for many years and the processing time for that is 16 weeks - i sent mine in a month ago requesting them to expediate - as soon as that is in - I am set to go.
