Hi May applicants
I got my documents request today on 25/10/2010 for London Office.I filed application on 26/05/2010 under NOC3111 . I am happy ,if any body guide me regarding PCC,i got one of it from my country Pakistan on 17/07/2010 and it's more than 3 months old while currently i am working in UAE and of course i will get it from here too,the PCC which i got from Pakistan will be valid or not?
Currently i am living in UAE and recent one will be from here.
Thanks awaiting senior's response.

no one knows if the London Visa office will calle you for interview in future. But as I known, most of applicants don't need to be interviewed for getting the immigration visa. |

Hello All
I got my AOR last week. Planing to send docs to Delhi Visa Office. Few questions from the seniors of this thread.
Do i need to send the copy of original forms which i send to CIO before? Also the copies i have are signed and dated then how to sign again and change the dates?
For proof of funds, do i need to send bank statements or just the certificate from the bank will be sufficient? Also if the bank statement then for how many months?
Also what docs i need from my brother to show as proof of relationship. Will only the copies of his docs work or he need to get it notarized from the notary?
Any comments will be highly appreciated..

New tougher Canada laws to curb illegal immigration
Canada, 25th October: The Canadian government has unveiled new tougher laws to control illegal immigration in the nation.
This will be done by introducing stiff penalties for those involved in human smuggling. Moreover, the federal government has also stated of detaining asylum seekers in Canada.
The main aim will be to crack down on those involved in human smuggling in Canada leading to their prosecution.
Some of the new measures include compulsory detention of human smugglers extending up to 10 years, prison sentences, a waiting period of five years for illegal immigrants wanting to make application for permanent residency in Canada, terminated refugee applications for those returning to their native nation for holidays and holding ship operators and ship owners to make them accountable for using ships in illegal Canada immigration.
The announcement about the new Canada immigration laws for punishing the guilty of illegal immigration in Canada was made by Vic Toews, Canada's Public Safety Minister and Canadian immigration minister Jason Kenney in Vancouver on Thursday.
The new law states that anyone found to be involved in smuggling of more than 50 people to Canada for monetary reasons while risking his or her own life will have to spend 10 years in jail.
Mr. Toews stated clearly that Canada will not allow abuse of its immigration system either by people smugglers or those not willing to abide by Canada immigration rules.
The new stiffer and harsher penalties for human smugglers in response to the growing human smuggling activities in Canada which proved that Canada is being targeted by human smuggling networks, Toews.
The government of Canada had been promising tougher legislations ever since the officials caught a ship with 500 Tamils on B.C. coast this August. Almost a year ago, around 72 Sri Lankan Tamils had landed on Canada border. All such migrants have asked to be provided refugee status in Canada.
The officials say they have struggled for a long time to put together the rules that were approved by the Canadian PM (Prime Minister) Stephen Harper and cabinet.
The government of Canada stated that it will have to act tough or will be at risk of losing public support for Canada's generous refugee and immigration system.

Hello everyone. Thanks God. At last my time has come . I got my 1st AOR on 25th of Oct.2010.  (As I noticed in the CIO E-mail, my DD was cashed on 9th Aug. 2010) It seems applicants relating to Damascus VO will hear more good news from now on. By the way a friend of mine who is not in this forum ( A may Applicant) has also got his first AOR in the same time as I did. He has the same NOC code too. We can conclude that they have categorized and investigated our file according to NOC. So those who have not got their AOR should be patient. Their time will come soon. Thanks for those who tried to keep our spirits high. |

(yes you can show either one of them - both are perfectly alright as per their checklist - make it atleast for 2 to 3 months incase of a statement)
Also what docs i need from my brother to show as proof of relationship. Will only the copies of his docs work or he need to get it notarized from the notary?(copy of his landing papers + copy of his PR card + his birth certificate copy to prove lineage)
Any comments will be highly appreciated..
