Can anyone tell me how much it cost for the complete process ?
A splited cost info is highly appreciated.
I paid my consultant already 1.9 Lacs and still to pay 1 Lacs as per my contract with the consultant. I know its a bit high, but their info and the way they do things for me are pretty nice. I dont care paying a bit extra for a good service, but it should not be too high. One of the guy said he pays only 2 lacs for the complete preocess including the fees for the spouse.
Sans_May2010
I'm expecting to spent ~$4000 on application processing (incl. medicals, sending doc., translating, notarizing, RPRF etc.) by the time VISA is issued. I'm doing everything with out consultant, because I have seen a lot of cases where consultant only screws up. There is nothing really difficult in filling application because Canada government have taken care of it when they wrote so good instructions on these topics. They have also Youtube channel with video instructions. So if you aren't lazy enough you can save a lot of money and in some cases trouble too.

Hi - $4000 does sound a lot! I completely agree with your decision not to hire a consultant. I've had several rants about them but generally they charge large sums of money, and they can mislead you, tell you mistruths, make mistakes and incur extra delays. Not sure exactly how much our application has cost so far, but roughly: £700 processing fees £150 document notarization £70 police clearance certificates £108 IELTS test plus around £50 for car hire + petrol = £160 TOTAL = around £1080 so far And of course hundreds of hours of time! To follow: Approx £600 medicals fees Approx £600 right of permanent resident fees So we're looking around the £2700 mark purely for the visa itself for 2 of us. Of course we will have to pay for flights to land to validate the visa, but we're thinking of turning this into a job-hunting holiday around Vancouver, some time next year depending of course on how long the visa process takes. Wayne.

Hi, yes you may ask I am a software developer, I work for a company which specialises in writing core solutions for the Broadcasting industry (essentially being able to manage automation, playout and media assets of video/audio etc using software and standard PCs instead of lots of expensive hardware). My wife is an industrial pharmacist and works for 3M, and it is under her skills we are applying for FSW1. I am not from London, I am from a town called Loughborough, which is in between Nottingham and Leicester (anyone not from the UK may have heard of Nottingham because of Robin Hood etc). Wayne.

I have spent about 5000 Canadian Dollar which includes governmet fees, courier costand other menial expenses and my consultant fee of $1040 still remaining $1040($490 and $550)to be paid but that would be after he must have sent my full document and the second part after i must have received my Visa. The whole process should be complete with with about $10,000 which includes the landing fees. budget having about $10,000 but this does not include the minimum amount you must have in your account
My Guy, why do you have to spend so much, are you taking your whole clan along? LOL

The cost includes my total expenses such as courier cost, notorizations, processing of transcripts, transportation, IELTS, Consutant fee, Flights(6 people), etc. Infact i fear it might not even be enough. But i have planned $10, 000

hi!
wow. very nice to heard that. but are you not happy with your job in uk, why you want to immigrate to canada.
I am not unhappy in my job, however for a number of years I have been getting itchy feet to try living in another country. I am 37 years old and after 37 years of living in the UK the novelty has worn off I have an elderly great uncle and a few friends on Vancouver Island and we've been to Canada twice now for holidays - in September 2008 and again in April 2010 - in British Columbia and Alberta and we really loved it. Since my wife and I do not yet have children it felt like the perfect time to give this a go. Wayne.

I for say!. You are absolutely correct, my cost should be within that range if I include medical fees(family of 7), flights from PH to Lagos, or Abuja for the medicals + accommodation. However,my cost should be lower than yours as I did not use a consultant. Had used one for my 2007 application, I don't think it is necessary to use them, they work with the information you provide, you can as well present it yourself.
