Hi Seniors & others,

I really need your valuable advise for my case:


Application received by CIO - 4th May-10

NOC Category : 1111

AOR - No Reply from CIO till now

Encashment of DD : not encashed till now as pf 30 th Sept-10

DD details : Al Fardan Exchange ( validity is 3 months as per them)

Concern : DD of Al Fardan Exchange is valid for 3 months ( DD dated 27th April-10 so valid till 27 July-10)

Even if CIO has try to encashed in Aug-10, they will not be able to encash DD as validity is 3 months. Till now I have not received any reply from CIO for non-payment or any other reason for not charging of DD.

Last week I had talked with CIC customer service and told them that my DD is encashed on 6th Aug-10 ( estimate date given by me as they were not taking further information for complaint). After that they asked all my details such as AWB No:, full name, surname, date of birth, email id. They told me to wait for 30 days and call again for same.

This is really confusing and I don't know what to do. First of all we have to wait for so long and finally unusual surprises comes this way.

Can Non-payment lead to not opening the file or I should receive a notification to pay.

Please advise your valuable suggestions. Secondly my NOC is out of list now.

HI ,

I received my second AOR from Buffalo on the 12th but my eCAS status is still the message from the 1st AOR.

I noted that the B number that I got from Sydney is different from what I got from Buffalo.

Please help me to find out correct way

1) Which AOR is valid for eCAS status check

2) still my Draft is not cashed

3) that time i did not send my PCC and FBI report ? when should i send this report ?

4) how long my PCC and FBI report is valid ?

Hello Guys,

I applied for FSW under the old category in may and my application was rejected due to declien in payment due to CVV error. We again sent our application in october and within a weeks time they again processed our application and our credit card was charged with the visa fee.

I am not sure on the timelines for receiving AOR ... but can anyone guide me as to what would be the next requirement as for documentation process so that I can start working on the preparation of all documents any list or link would be very helpful.

My consultant has submitted an official access request to CIC in Ottawa and should receive a reply in a few days. I will inform you as soon as I receive a reply.

I have received my AOR and in the process of compiling my papaers for submission to NewDelhi Visa office.
can any one please let me know:
1, do I have to type out new forms - because my status has changed since May 2010- or only put that in a covering letter? (the forms have also changed since June 2010)
2, Do I have to make any payment in the form of Draft etc while sending papers to Visa office OR is the payment already made to Central office adequate?
3, Does the Visa office check only for documents OR any chances of rejection happening there too?
I would appreciate any comments/Inputs.

as far as i know, you have to submit only the copy of the forms that you submitted in the CIC. but this time you submit this copy to the visa office. no need to make another set of forms...

2>>> RPRF can be send with the full doc. or can be sent only upon request from VO on later stage. The one paid to CIO doesn't cover the RPRF.
3>>> the assigned visa officer's duty is to check the forms & supporting doc. thoroughly.

(this is purely my opinion, seniors may give inputs too.)

can you help me with this.... regarding the settlement fund. Do i have to have a 6 month old bank account for it to be used for the settlement funds? i have just opened an account wherein my aunt will deposit the money... actually two weeks ago... will this be ok??? or i should have an old account??? thanks

as far as I know, while u submit ur full doc. to the VO, u have provide a proof for settlement fund as:
•current bank certification letter; or
•evidence of savings balance; or
•fixed or time deposit statements.

as u've just opened ur a/c, u can send "current bank certification letter" in which ur current amount will be stated.

but, some ppl believed that it would be the plus point if u can send ur bank statement of around 3mths & in ur case, it might not be possible.

in the later stage, while the VO asks for the medical request, they might also ask for 3-6 month bank statement, which means the minimum account as a proof of fund should be deposited/remained at the bank until u got the visa.

  London has its share of AOR last week. We can  now be rest assured that CIO is issuing AOR by VO .However, the criteria employed by CIO is unknown to us.
As we enter another waiting week, I pray for more AOR to all of us

thanks...i have other accounts as well but the problem is that my aunt doesnt have account there so it would be difficult for her to TRANSFER funds ok thanks so much. uve been a great help. il tell her about it

Yes, my CC has not been charged yet. I have no idea what to do to verify my application's destiny.
