Call center probably doesn't have any new information so they are saying what they know. At the same time CIO in Sydney are processing applications, and that's what we now know for sure. I think there is no reason to call them now, just wait for your time... |

I called CIC 2 days ago and they told me that they were unable to find my file updated on their system so i should wait for two weeks to call again.
I got up this morning and checked my email and ................. there it was.
My first AOR. My cheque was encashed on August 12.
Please update my status and correct my name JAVA363

as the names in the list indicates
most names are indian
i am an indian too and i got my AOR.(BY Email)

Thanks Tegnus for the prompt response.
I had not been on the Internet for a few days now as I had a family mishap and I have to be going back and forth to the hospital.
I was so over whelmed by my AOR that I neglected to congratulate all the others on theirs.

Hi, I am using a consultant for my PR processing and got my AOR from my consultant yesterday. I now tried using the Immigration File No: B********* to check application status online, on CIC website and it says 'Cannot locate your application'. Why is that? Those of you who have received your AORs, were you able to check your status online?!  |

@ JMPA, I am sorry to hear this...but its alarming thing.... it is clear that they chraged all the credit cards/DD without reviewing the application and now the are doing this. Also its strange that CIO only sent the letter otherwise normally they sent full package back. Dear JMPA, can u plz tell what is the date on CIO letter and when it was received to u? which country r u from? @ ALL no one from ppl of London VO received AOR yet  just hoping for the best and praying to Allah Almighty for success,. |

@ JMPA, CIO could be drastic in their actions. My sister had gotten her PR and that of her husband and that of her first child. As at the time they were processing she got pregnant but got the PR days to her delivery date. She eventually gave birth before they could leave, they tried to add the child to the immigration process but CIO said it is not possible and that they have to start all over. They just went to reapply after getting the PR. They wanted to even go to court but the consultant adviced them to start over. They lost consultant fees and some other fees.
So you can see my friend yours is not yet deep. Just take heart and quickly reapply instead of contemplating on how to solve the case at hand cos there is no way, their decision is final. Apply fast, remember it is a race against slot
Those who have received their AOR congrats, more are still in coming today
