Dear Comrade
I will like to appeal to all of us to avoid inflammatory remark/comment that is capable of jeopardizing the  lofty aim and objectives of the noble forum. I will continue to say it- If not for this forum , I would probably by now become hypertensive. I have learned from the failures and success of members of this forum
CIO is working. The delay in issuing AOR is obvious- NEW REGULATIONS. .I have been following the CANADIAN IMMIGRATION POLICY since 2000.Applicants all over the five continent are making frantic effort to be part of the FIRST 20,000.Thus CIO is bombarded daily with more applications than they can handle
The MAY - PRE JUNE 26 APPLICANTS already knows their faith- If your occupation is among the 38,and your CC/DD has been charged
JUST WAIT.At  least your application will not be returned if you meet other criteria.

Please let us refrain from using abusive words and making derogatory statement .
I love every one in this forum
Happy waiting

Hi,
I am at serious Emergency.
Need your frank comments please.
I am in the process of applying for F1 (Student) Visa for USA. Now, I have to submit a questionnaire. The last question in that questionnaire is- Did you apply for immigration or citizenship to any other country? If yes, then which country and what is the status of your application.

Please, I know it is awkward, but given the fact that my being a potential immigrant to Canada, the US consulate may reject me from Student VISA there. So, should I disclose that I have applied for Canadian Immigration in the Student Visa form for US?

I have only 24 hours to decide. I am sincerely looking for your pragmatic suggestion (no matter how awkward it is!).

Personally, I'd be too worried to lie on a U.S. visa application.  I'd tell the truth, and explain exactly where in the immigration process you are in (i.e. eligibility  @  CIC, or papers with local Visa Office).  I imagine that question would screen for a possible change in allegiance to a non-friendly country more than anything else.  I'm not an expert, just some thoughts.

Hi,

You need to call at 16139444000  and then select options in this sequence    1...2...1...2....1

You would be placed in queue and after 5-10 minutes, your call would be attended by someone. The person would ask for client id. Since you don't have it, provide your name and DoB and then ask for your status & client id.

Try to call them early in the morning like 9am there time so that you dont have to wait in a queue for a long time.

Hope this helps

Cheers

You can try but i dont think there call centre is 24hrs because they receive calls from only those applicants who applied from Canada so i dont think they have 24hrs service, many april applicants used this number to get in contact with CIC. You can also try sending them an email i saw one applicant who didnt rec his AOR after CC been charged and what he did was he just send the email and i think within a week he received AOR so maybe this works for you as well.

Good Luck

Immigration isn't simple at any point, real fight will start when we will get visa...

Feeding people with fake assumptions make the nervous because they think you know something, but in fact you don't. That is fact and not assumption.

Wanna prove me wrong? then CIO should send at least a May applicant his/her AOR.  'real fight will start when we will get visa... ' what do you mean by that?

Guys,

Please dont fight with each other. This sites has given all the information which an person need it. Rather than running behind consultant, this place is more safer.

Every body has some wishes in life.If it fulfills, its good, or else, the person needs to have other options.

If your son/daughter is upset, you will not disappoint him more by saying fact, even though you may know the fact. You will be motivating him or encouraging him.

Hope you got my message.

sadika is it a new e-mail??? I remember that you received one, because you have made inquiry about your application status.

AOR will come to e-mail if you have written it in Application form.
