My DD was encashed on 13-08-2010 (payment date) according the information contained in the bank notification to yesterday via SMS.

Hi Alizia,

Did u try to call CIO to check any status update. They are saying that they are processing 3rd May applications since last 5 or 6 weeks. As u r also a 3rd May applicant, just try to call them and check what they say about ur case.

Hi! I also sent my application thru DHL. My question is: As you tracked your mail, did it tell that is was delivered and signed for by PAUL in HALIFAX, Nova Scotia?  I am wondering if that is really the way DHL works.  CIO is located in SYDNEY not HALIFAX.  Why is it that in the last detail of the tracking system, it only said there that it was delivered in HALIFAX..

i applied on 27 april from india by DHL to nova scotia under fsw-3111 along with my ielts result (8 bandscore).DHL tracker shows delivered to halifax signed by paul.waiting for AOR. PL ADD ME IN THIS LIST TOO.cio recieved application on 4 may 2010.

don't lose hope.  until you get your rejection letter, there is still a chance that you were able to make it. don't you have a way to verify in the bank if your dd was encashed?

nope there is no way to check becuase it was paid money order i think by consultant.  even him dont have anyway of knowing.

the agent told me that : 3 rd may applicants under processing now and i have to call after 2 weeks
and he told me  "the reason of delaying processing application is CIO received alot alot alot of applications"

i asked him to provide my Cient ID to check my status later
he told me ur application not checked yet there's no Client ID for not processed applications

Interesting, did you put right sending address?

You should probably ask this question to CIO, maybe there are some changes which we aren't aware of.

No problem with the address. My first application was also reached Halifax, Canada and it was signed by Glen Miller. They returned me the application package after one and half month due to not being able to encash my money from the Credit Card Company (Reason : Technical Problem). This means Buddy, you need not to worry about reaching your application to the right place. However, my second application package was signed by "Paul" and all these by DHL tracking.

So don't worry, be happy.... Good luck to all...

Hello guys and gals.. as i am collecting the documents.. need some advise.

i went to my university today to enquire about transcripts in university sealed envelopes,

they said that they will attest, certify and seal in envelope only the copies of the transcripts that i have already with me.

they dont issue duplicate transcripts until the original is lost and police report has been lodged for its loss.

so if i want duplicate transcript i have to apply with police report of lost original.

now my question is

1)   do i give my original to uni officials and ask them to seal them form me..in this case i wont be having my originals anymore .
and if i do give them originals.. will they be returned.


2) do i get the copies certified from uni and get them sealed as per my univeristy policy..
plz guide.

Guys, the 120days period starts from the moment we receive the AOR right? I mean, I really don't care much if the take longer to send the AOR, it will give me more time to prepare, however, I am worried about the 120days.
