I have good news for those who are trying to call CIO to get info on their application. You can now call free to any number in US and Canada using google voice directly from your gmail inbox.

I just tried it and it connects to CIO.

hello pinoy!  it's good to know I have a fellow pinoy in the same time line.  My cc was also charged last august 6 but no AOR yet.  It's ok.  I think CIO is trying to finish first charging cc's and encashing dd's of all applicants prior to the June 26 changes.  Perhaps after that, they would release AORs in batches.  That is just my personal assumption.

Regarding our status, after they charged our cc, I think AOR should follow as I have observed with the other applicants.  Although, according to others in here, there were very minimal cases wherein the application was still rejected even though the cc was already charged. I hope it will not happen to us.

Are you done collecting all your documents?  Where you staying- manila or other country?

I'm planing to send mine on Tuesday. There is still one reference letter to collect, which my current employer sent for translation - it haven't arrived back jet. All other documents will be translated and notarized on Tuesday. It's not a cheap thing any way...

Am in US and I have sent my Application on April 30, 2010 and it reached Sydney office in a weeks time. I came to know on July 28th CIC has charged $1210 CAD on my credit card but I have never got any acknowledgment of the application or reference number till now. What should I do next? I sent few emails to buffalo immigration and they told me since it is been processed at CIC office they have no information about my application.

As I know some guys who filed on Apri 30 did not get their AOR yet although their cc was charged already. So I propose be patient, you will get your AOR soon.

my application got returned today due to cc charge declined. it's really hard to see this even though I prepared. I put too much effort on it. i even have my full documents ready... and now i have to say good bye to all of you.... couldn't control my tears out of my eyes...

hey buddy dont lose your hear... did u take a look at australian immigration.. they have pretty good lost of SOL which qualifies for federal skilled immigrant.. give that a try..

i want to get my transcript in university sealed evelop but my uni saying we dont give more than one transcript but only if lost (with DUPLICATE written on it). how can i still get it in university sealed envlp??? How u did it through HEC??? Please Help!!! I m Also left with that one little thing...

same was done by me i went to my university and they told me the same story  
afterwords i went to HEC
and believe you me that one of the best organization i found in pakistan is HEC
they guided me
i just register my self on internet and took appointment  went there and paid the amount in first window by showing the print out of appointment. went to second window and submitted my documents for attestation. got time of three hours for return of my attested documents  and after getting attested docuemnts i went to R&I department of HEC. he asked me that should i need all degrees in single envelop
i requested him to put my degrees in one envelop and my husbands degrees in second envelop
same  was done by him i just have to wait for 5 mins and got proper sealed envelopes and that is all
R& I department havent charged me any thing (free of cost)
Note
for sealed envelop attestation is mandatory and
dont go there without appointment becz there are 100s of ppl standing in que who havent got appointment
