If you are interested this process to be faster I would recommend you to stop calling CIO. Of course if you want to load them more with questions like when, where etc and slow down the process go on, continue.

Calling them will not put your file in the front of the list and will not give some news that actually matters.

Its already done. CIC website was updated yesterday that they are working on applications till 25th June 2010.

Hi Milita, Saki and expert who apply from Canada,

I have one questions, my police certificate was issued since August 2009. I understand that from a visa officer who visited us at university of Toronto, as long as  an applicant does not leave Canada, his/her police certificate will be accepted even it is expired.

Do you agree or disagree and have any experience about this?

i did try explaining this to the bank but they just wont admit that this internet transaction can happen without a CVV code. is there an email of CIO where i can send the CVV code. or a number i can call.

I have a similar experience. I sought out the problem & i am telling u my friend, the problem is in your bank / CC issueing authority. They have made it mandetory from the system in there end to input cvv number a must. Tell them to remove it  for internet transaction from overseas & contact CIO.

You received AOR within 15 days? Thats amazing... My CC charged on 9th Aug , its been more than 2 weeks since then and I haven't received AOR email yet.


I think it will take some more time to come Guy.
