guys, found this in another thread.. this might explain additional delays :

Dear All,

I just want to share with you that i called CIC call center now, the agent told me that they are still entering 8 April applications, the reason behind this delay is they recieved HUGE number of applications on 8 and 9 April due to the pre IELTS requirement announcement to take place effective 10 April, accordingly they are expecting to finalize 8 and 9 April entries in 2 more weeks from now, starting 10 April, number of applications recieved went back to normal level.

I am not planning to take IELTS. Excluding language... i have 63 points..

I have completed BBA and MBA from USA and currently working for an investment bank on H1.. do you think my educational background and work experience would be enough to get that 4 points?? just trying to save money ..

I would suggest to you to take the IELTS because this will give you an OBJECTIVE score on education. If you don't, the immigration officer would look at your educational background and experience and provide you a SUBJECTIVE score. This means that you can't defend yourself if the officer gives you a score of "0"

i have a question please,can i call that number and ask about my payment which i pay before via cc.
because i send my app once before and it was returned due to lack in information.my first time was in 2-2-2010
and i received my documents by mail in April .so, i think this is a long time to get my money back

I sent in my application to Mississauga on 7th by UPS, it was received on May 10th... I called the call center today June 7th and they have my application and work is being done on it. She told me there is no final desicion yet but it looks really good so far and they have instructed for my file to be sent to Cairo and to Quebec. She mentioned I would receive a letter within the next few weeks.
I wonder how she can tell if it looks good or not ? Anyways Im content with the answer.

no dear, my first app was in February at the first time ,it was refused and my money didn't be returned until now.

some people advised me to wait until they send me a letter explaining what should i do to refund

but now this is too long time and i need anyone who had the same problem to till me what to do
