Really sorry to hear this Smithac. Please do complain to CIO through your consultant as its completely unfair to May applicants when i know atleast 3 April applicants who had recieved 30 days chance to resubmit their payment information. Why us? it should be applicants who are applying after June 26th. Why they will only have this small segment of people being targeted for a new rule.
I have sent a new payment information as per the advice given my calling agent at CIO. Today when i called they cannot verify that if they have updated my new payment information. It was received there on 18th. But no way to verify. And they are still saying they are working on May 3rd applicants and they haven't openend my application yet. I cant believe what they are saying. My guess is that they only have information for the applicants who are issued with AOR.
I am very frustrated with waiting time and when i see people are getting rejected for some unfair reason, then it makes whole thing even worse. May Allah gives patience to all of us!
As majid89 recomended me, I e mailed the minister, I ask why we don't get the 30 days rule to send a new method of payment NO answer yet I ll keep you up dated. It is hard to give up. Did your NOC stay on the list or not? How come you have sent your papers again? or just the payment? |

Try to fix the bank problem first. As I heard, CIO may charge your CC again at a later time, maybe after one hour, maybe after one day.... This is not 100 percent sure. You can not ask them to redo it. Make sure you can fix the problem during the weekend, and if they charge your CC again in the next week, you will be safe. Wish you good luck! |

Take it easy my friend. I experienced the same situation as yours. I sent a new payment form to CIO to correct the previous one, and this way worked. My CC was charged on 17th Aug. When I called CIC call centre at a later day, they confirmed there was a note in the system saying that I would like to change the payment form, so they would pay attention to any seperate payment form for my case. They can not verified the condition of your case at this moment since it has not been in the system yet, but that also does not mean your information was not updated. Let's wait several days to see the result. |

As you can see from CIC website, they are working on applications received till 10th Jun. Remember to include your personal details as much as possible so they can easily identify your case. DD is not yet charged....
Still wondering how long DD guys have to wait !

Yes I did call the CIO The lady answered my call said my application was received on May 10 and they are still on their application verification phase. She didnt say anything about my DD receipt or the AOR. She only said all the qualified applicants will get a responsble from the CIO office after they verify the application and then sent to the local visa office futher proceedings. Is there anyone had any problen on cashing the DD. I have read many concerns regarding the credit card issues and would like to know anybody had any troubles with their DD's. Sans_May2010 hi all
