I also didnot submitted my IELTS. I submited to them sample of technical paper to evalute my english language skills. This is allowed as the IELTS is not mandotary, but its recommended. There is a risk to give lower points. For my case, I have sufficent points even they give 12. I live in Canada since 2006 on study permit visa. Best for all. Hi Guys,
I need your help, I have submitted my application May 18, 2010 and got 1st AOR October 19, 2010. I transfer my file February, 28 2011 to London office. now the problem is that i have not submitted my IELTS result yet. Will they request for IELTS or they will reject my application. Right now i am in Canada doing Master in Electrical Engineering . Please guide me what is best possible option for me now.

Dear Salem, IELTS is mandatory and there is no other option for language proficiency.They have clearly mention in the application form to submit IELTS result. Submitting other papers for language proficiency is more risky and equivalent to not submitting the IELTS result. Regards Cool |

dear harpreet
it seems that this is not any technical problem but a symmetry in disappearance of addresses, Pl explain why they are disappearing in sequence why not randomly, they must be uploading some documents or reviewing the scoring etc
My one friend has sent full documents two months before me(ie sep 2010), he is still having RBVO and his address is not missing... Mine address is missing with RBVO So i think this is not a creteria of Change is Status... |

IELTS is mandatory.. It was to be sent along with application in a single package... They have to calculate your point based on the file you submitted within deadline. Have you taken the test. If so what is the date of the test If the date is prior to Feb 2011 than it will be good. as you was supposed to clear ielts in the given deadline. You got your AOR on 19th OCT and send full documents on 28 FEB ie after 132 days. I think the deadline should be of 120 days.. plz explain Hi Guys,

Ohh Sorry it was not February, I sent my file January, I don't send IELTS because at that time i cant get require score. so i read on this forrum that for application before 26/06/2010 they send a request to submit IELTS. Will they send me request or i should send my result now.

For pre June applicants they had an option to provide IELTS result or not . In the absence of IELTS they need to provide strong evidences of there good command over English and it was upto visa officer to accept it or not.

I am also a Pre June applicant. I did not also submitted IELTS, i sent a written explanation. I have received my caips and my language cods =1 which mean fluent in English. Still waiting for medicals. |

Only for applications received at CIO,Sydney before 9th April 2010, thereafter it was mandatory for IELTS to be sent (to Visa office with complete docs. submission) for your application to considered complete. |

You are still not clear. Your points summary should show 16 for language, then only can you be sure that VO has given you full points for English. The '1' you are mentioning pertains to the Personal Information data at the end of the CAIPS, where they state information you have put in the IMM0008 form. It is not an assessment of your language skills but merely a status of the deceleration you have put in the form. |
