Some one has messed up the spreadsheet. This was what i feared which made me not to make it publicly  editable but due to my absence and lack of volunteer to take it up during my absence had to make it open now it been messed up with out a back up. The back up i had lost it to virus infecting my system. That is not nice of the person that did it, it is pure wickedness

Yes, I can access it, I was unable to do so for weeks and tried this morning and I can check in.  It is stating that my case is 'in process' and it also states that processing began on 17 Nov (they received my full documents on 26 Oct).

Hope this helps, good luck to you all.  Just spent two weeks in Canada - it's going to be worth it!!

There is a perception that only after getting the second AOR only, we can access our status.
I'm not sure about it.

Have you got the second AOR ??

Are you able to access your status after getting the second AOR or before ??

It depends on VO from few weeks to few months, in some cases even 6 months.

Hi All!

For all translated documents in English / French I found out in CIC guide lines that an affidavit from a translator is also required that he has the authority to translate these documents. Has anyone provided that affidavit??

i have translated my documents from islamabad / pakistan and he has not given me any affidavit but a certificate that

"he has the authority to translate these documents and he has made this solemn declaration beleiving it to be true and knowing it is of the same force and effect as if made under oath.

declared before me at the city / town of islamabad in the federal area of ict and country of pakistan"



I then attested this certificate from notary public

Sorry, I was wrong, I do have a London VO number - the letter (2 AOR) was sent to my old address, so it does look like you can only access ecas once you have been given the 2 AOR.

It seems that CIC stopped process of requesting passports until late December or January all over the world.

So it's waiting time right now

I said "it seems", which doesn't mean I 100% know. And it seems because a lot of applicants from London and other VO received e-mail which said something like this:

Dear Sir/Madam,
 
Thank you for your message.  We currently do not require any further action from your client.  We appreciate that your client wish to arrive in Canada as soon as possible, however at this moment we do not anticipate requesting your passports for visa issuance before December 2010/January 2011.

For those who are still waiting - be patient and don't lose faith and the day will come!

All you will get AOR's, MED req. and soon after PPR so - be patient, patience is key in this process.

hi all
recieved my 2nd AOR today dated 18 november2010 with RPRF reciept dated 22 november2010 from newdelhi visa office.I am 4th may applicant got 1ST AOR on 28 sept 2010.
