Hi...

Thanks a lot , I sent my application on may 11th ... but due to some credit card payment issue they rejected my application and i received the application back in September. I requested them again stating my case ... they reconsidered and charged my credit card 2 weeks back and today i received my AOR.

  I received my AOR today. My POLICE REPORT was issued in May 2010
Can I still use the POLICE REPORT or Do I obtain a new one. It is stated in the POLICE REPORT it is valid for THREE MONTHS

Hi Sherry, The Bxxxxxxxxx number is your immigration file number... visit www.cic.gc.ca     
1- click on check status online on the right side of screen.
rest is easy..... when you put in your Bxxxxxxxxxxxx numbe in relevant field remember to select immigration file from drop down menu....there are fields related to sir name and date of birth as well.

Does everybody agree on this? I'm also on the same boat, i want to confirm if this is correct, because i will be sitting for my IELTS few days from now and don't know what should be my target points whether 12 or 14 to qualify for 67 points. I am really pressured if I will have to score 14 points because I'm not that good in English Language.

BTW, I applied under NOC 1111 Financial Manager for 3yrs and 10 months to date, which means i would score 19, but I also have two years experience as a bookkeeper. I am not sure if this will be counted in as this is not included in the old 38 demand list. Seniors.. please shed some llight.

You should be able to get 21 point. Please refer to EG7000. I think you could find the clear answer in it.

Hi, Congratulation for all who recieved their first AOR. CIO issued AOR for buffalo VO of June applicant. I donot know how they working it's not fair. I am May 10 applicant, Buffalo VO, and I didnot recieved my 1st AOR. It's now 5 months 18 days (172days) of waiting. I am very sad for this way they working.

The Ministerial Instructions for  Federal Skilled Workers applications between February 27, 2008 and June 26, 2010 is apllicable to you and I which contained 38 jobs (NOC) category. You points stands at 19 for work experience. Pre February 27, 2008 NOC codes/ jobs is not applicable to us.

I pray you have a good showing in your IELTS to cover the gap.

Experience is not calculated this way as you mentioned.

Step 1:

To qualify for FSW1, you need to have min 01 year continuous experience in one of 38 NOC list (pre 26 june) or 29 NOC list (post 26 june).

Step 2: Experience Points are given for the total number of yeras of experience if your work is in category 0, 1 or 2 on Canadian full NOC list.

For example if u have 01 year in 1111 NOC then u r done with step 1 and qualify first requirement. then you have 5 years experience in a NOC which is not in ministerial list (old 38 or new 29) but that NOC is available on Canadian main occupation list and ur work category is 0, A or B....then u will get points for total 06 years....

14 is too tough for me to achieve..... i feel so confused..  earlier somebody advise its counted, now it's not . I wish to hear other opinions from the same situation and managed to get it through. :'

no no dont worry.... ur experience as book keeper is counted as well....check what is NOC number for book keeper, then check which categort it is like 0, A or B and them match ur duties (at least 70%)....if all yes then ur experience will be counted as well and u will get full 21 points

I am in doubt about work experience points.  please help me.

I applied under 0213 and I need to get all 21 points of work experience. I know, to get 21 points I should provide 4 years of work experience or more.

My question is:
Is it necessary to provide all 4 years under 0213 or it can be one year for 0213 (software development manager) and 3 years for another NOC like 2174 (software developer)?

I mean, Do I have to provide 4 years of experience under the main NOC to get complete 21 points?

Yes u will get 21 points if ur other NOC 2174 is from category 0, A, or B and matches about 70 % duties
