Hi smithac.
i checked both the list of NZ but could not find anything.
About UK I cant do this without +ve support of my husband. So i give up.
It creates lot of stress for me.
You are a 7th May applicant....how come ur CC as not been credited till now?
No idea when i called the CIC they said my application hasnt been opened yet. extremely worried - only hope is that application hasnt been returned yet |

Can anyone provide me with a phone number for Nova Scotia office to check my status of my application.
My application was received at NS on May 10 and havent been heard anything after that. I am not that worried but I could see someone in this blog has got their CC/DD's cashed already.
Also advise me the info asked by the the imm officers when called to check the status so that I can keep the info ready when i phone them.

I would advise you to wait for week or two, you only slow down process calling them not speed it up...

I dont think you got the right response, because some guys who applied on 17th May got the application return(some mistakes) last week. |

Hi. You can try calling them but they are not answering applicants outside Canada. They are giving information to those only who have applied within Canada. Your application was received on 10th May so you should wait a bit more and next week you will hear some new from them. Cheers Saki |

I dont think you got the right response, because some guys who applied on 17th May got the application return(some mistakes) last week.
I called 4 different times and spoke with 4 different agents in the past 10 days and got the same reply. |

What happens when the cc Charge gets to JUNE 26? Will the delay that aroused from the change of rules be removed and processing speeding up ?

Hello everyone, I just came from 5 days vacation and I found my application returned. It was returned because my cc was declined. My cc company made a big mistake because I had enough funds for the transaction. Now there is no way back since my NOC is not in the new list and the canadian athorities kindly recomend me to re apply under the new rules and thanks me for the interest in Canada. I cannot express how sad I am. A simple mistake from the cc company changed my future plans. Advise to the ones that have no answer yet, check with your cc company, I did it but they did not pay attention, So insist insist!

I cannot believe this is happening. In the past I have read the same, now they changed, I don't understand why? plus I feel bad because all the changes apply to me, no more NOC, no mercy with my payment, I feel like I am doing somthing wrong. I just did what they asked for, I had my IELTS, my TEF all the paperwork, all the study, all the money.... in vain. God help Canada to choose the right people. I hope to be among those who qualified in the future. Maybe my NOC one day come back to the list. |

waysouth.. i feel i am in the same boat. checked my credt card and no charges were made up to this time. thinking if i passed my cc should have been charged but no luck...im still crossing my fingers, who knows they will ask me to send another payment form..  also, my NOC is not on the list anymore..if ever, i guess you are right lets just wait for a new NOC list. goodluck to your endeavors! |
