State PCC are not required at this stage (only FBI letter is required). If State PCC is required, CIO or VO will specifically ask for that with AOR.
Navali i agree that state PCCs are not erquired at this stage however its good to get them since FBI is getting very delayed now and incase u dont get the FBI within 120 days, u can go ahead and submit with state PCCs and write a cover letter to the VO explaining that the FBI was applied but isnt in yet. Also state PCCs are pretty easy to obtain  |

Nope i havent recd my FBI clearance yet but its currently taking around 14 weeks so not extremely worried. For Kansas check the state dept website, the fingerprint req varies from state to state for example for Pennsylvania we didnt have to send in fingerprints while for California we did. website: www.kansas.gov/kbi/criminalhistory/Very useful information. Guys.... Good news from my end...
Yes, atlast my CC got charged yesterday (August ). Tegnus - Please update this.
It is a great feeling and hope the rest of the process continues in such manner. Also, for all your information, even though I perform mangerial duties for the last 6 years, my designations never had a "Manager" tag. Infact, even when I entered US in H1B, I was taken as Software Engineer because of pay reasosn. So, those who have applied using "Software Engineer, Systems Analyst etc..." be confident that your application will go thru as mine went smooth.
All the best for everyone and thanks a lot for moderators who keep this thread live and updated. Since I am on a travel profile, cannot contribute much often but will definitely share thoughts whenever I cross a milestone....
Once again for those who are waiting for an approval, believe me -you will have your time soon.

Just contacted the CIO and was told that they are currrently working on May 3rd applications She wasn't able to find our application on the system and said it most likely hasnt been opened yet. Also told us it would take another week or two to clear applications recd till May 7th and to expect a communication by the 20th

i am 90 % sure that ur money will be deducted as all rejected applications are received by applicants at there
home address and you didnt got, means you are in safe line

If it offers a fingerptint based one and the cost and processing times sound reasonable to you, I would suggest you go ahead and do that - builds a much stronger case. |
