Today i checked my status & it shows In Process.

We received your application for permanent residence on May 31, 2010.
 
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on October 4, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
 
Your application and supporting documents were received by the New Delhi office. They are pending review.
 
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on May 9, 2012.

Hope they process further in less time.

Thank you every one for updating ur time lines which helped me in analyzing my application status.

God willing every one would get their MR soon.

Same Status i have. Just got that We have start processing on May 4th. Lets pray now to God.

Hi All,

I was just checking out some discussions on trackit .com. and realized that applicants (for Buffalo VO) whose status changed to “In-process” and line added “we received you application and started processing on xxx” during March and April 2012 have now started receiving medical request.
I hope London VO (or other concerned VOs for all of us) would start to send us the MR soon as well. May God bless and help us all.

It just means your eligibility is done & u have the required 67 points. Now the verification process starts & if required they would ask you for additional documents if not required / they r satisfied with your documents they would send MR.

Many people have got Decision Made status diectly after IN PROCESS and without getting any MR. So, its not necessary that eligibility criteria has been cleared. The visa office shall be reviewing the file and there remain equal chances of getting rejected. London Visa office has sent so many rejections after IN PROCESS. Even NDVO has in past rejected applicants after IN PROCESS status

I have requested this before and forgot the link...thus, can any one please give me the link where to download CAIPS application form and the authorization form.  I went to Qorax thread/post and the link there isn't working anymore.

Also, in total..how many document or forms should I fill out to get CAIPS?

Apologies, but I guess some senior needs to respond to this question as I myself have not gone through the CAIPS request process yet.
As far as I know you need to complete release of information because a Canadian citizen or resident only can request this information. Plus all the information is maintained centrally in Canada so no need to request it from Visa office.

Seniors please confirm.
Alternatively you can always use the services of a professional agency, but they will charge you way more than the standard fee of CAD$ 5.
