Hello everyone,

I have some inquiries about "Canadian Experience Class Immigration Program" and i would like some help, if you please.

I'm 28 years years old  and I got accepted in a 2-year masters program in Waterloo University. As I understood that from the university website that I can apply for 2 years work permit after graduation to find a job in Canada, is my understanding correct?

Also, if I managed to work for one full year in Canada after my graduation, what are the chances of getting the PR under the "Canadian Experience Class Immigration Program"? And how long does it take?

My current 5-years work experience and my software engineering B.S. degree allows me to work in any of the Level A skills specified under "217 Computer and Information Systems Professionals". Is the job market for my field promising? Or it is difficult to complete the required one-year work experience in Canada?

Information that you might need,i am married to 25 years old lady , who got a bachelor degree in English literature,  and we are blessed with a beautiful 7-month baby girl.

I appreciate your help and time.

Hi, for CEC you need to work for one year after you graduate from UoW. It's not that difficult to find a proper job according to your background.
Also i think the Ontario PNP Master Stream is a better option for you because you can apply in the last semester and there is no requirment for job offer.

the program name is Opportunities Ontario:
http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/index.htm

You can apply for PSW in 90 days after you graduate from program and in 180 days for PNP. No work experience is required for PNP, you will need IELTS, POF, and have to that you have completed a postgrad degree from a public funded institute in Ontario. PNP is faster than CEC, but there is a cap of 1000 PNP's in a year for student with a Master's degree.

under current rules you will surely get PSW, after your PSW if you work under any NOC with level 0, A, or B then you can apply under CEC, on other hand you don't need any experience for PNP just the Master degree from Ontario.
