Bro Why do you give a harsh answer to String. Everyone knows about Google search. If you don't have suggestion , better dont give your bad comments to one who is seeking the help. After all this forum is supposed to help each other. Just think about Qorax, how many answers he has replied and has helped so many people.
Thanks

If cant say anything nice then SHUTUP, dont get your frustration out here mate. Limbo...if google was the answer we wouldnt have this forum...sorry to say this but arrogancy gets a negative response from the community anywhere, and we complain if we are attacked.

And String I am trying masters program too, you have to have a very good refrence from your previous University. i would advice to takeup one unit online if they are offering...do very good init and then try getting admission in the same uni. Cheers

You should consider re-writing the IELTS examination.  A higher score will help your chances for admission.

You should apply to a broader ranger of universities if your goal is merely to get a Canadian qualification.  Look beyond the Universities of Alberta or Toronto to universities like Lakehead or Regina.  Cast the net wide, and you'll find a place.

Good luck!

Dear string11,
its better keep trying to universities , but i heard Germany is best place and offering a lot of scholarships in field of molecular biology , one of my cousin recently completed his post doc on scholarship in germany , i think canada is not offering much in field of biology but keep searching...one more thing once u are there it will be better chances to get enroll either in masters or doctoral program as i myself will be looking for higher education first... i suggest your major concern should be immigration then education .....

Try writing MSAT or GRE (the general north american entrance examinations for higher studies). These are to prove that you understand the western way of studies, and that you are capable.

IELTS - did you take academic? Try TOEFL, thats the one most sought by the universities.

just compare your self with a person applying for the same place with probably 2 points more than what you have scored. Now, identify, what can YOU provide to the community that the competitor cannot! - Voila! put this in your statement of purpose.

Nothing is easy. Nothing is impossible either. Everything needs, sincerity, dedication and hardwork!

Good Luck.
