married to canadian, didnt report the marriage yet to Philippine embassy.

is it going to be a problem if you didnt report the foreign marriage to your country while the spousal application is on process? I've heard they will ask for AOR and even you already include CeNOMAR in the application. just confused. if anybody has the same experience pls help

I have the same situation as yours... we have been married for a year already and I have not registered our marriage to the Philippine consulate in Vancouver...

When we submitted our application in Nov. 2010 I didn't even include a Cenomar...then our file was transferred to a local office... so I immediately ordered Foss notes... then on the remarks, " no proof that the PA is not married to the father of her son" So I immidiately ordered CEnomar from Philippines...

Then I just learned that you have to register the marriage and that is what I'm going to do now. But if I think that won't be a problem at all... but just to make sure register it! Good luck to us

Oh wow.. i live in Vancouver too. I am the sponsored person. I currently have visitor visa. So you think i have to report the marriage in the embassy? oh.. i saw the requirements its so many.. May i know your time line? mine was Oct 20 receive file, Jan 3 sponsor approved.

1. Duly accomplished Report of Marriage Forms (in four copies)

2. Original and three (3) photocopies of Marriage License or Registration of Marriage (long form) issued by the Office of the Civil Registrar General

3. Four (4) 2x2 photographs each of husband and wife

4. Copy of Passport of the couple

So far eto lang naman ata kelangan eh..

ako sa canada ako kinasal we're both pinoy.. hindi namen na register sa Philippine Consulate sa Toronto pero ok naman processing namen 4months (nadelay because sa canada ako nagpamedical and need trasfer sa manila).. tapos like you   @  charmainefrances nagpass ako ng application ng asa canada pa ako pero OUTLAND ginawa ko kase dapat mag INLAND kame kaso narealize namen matagal so nag outland na lang kame ayun 5months nga..wala naman prob ata kase hanggang ngayon hindi pa din kme nakaregister sa Philippine Consulate Toronto..

malapit ka na din naman matapos eh.. kase mahaba haba na din ung nilakbay ng papers niyo hoping maging ok na din soon un lang mahirap talaga inland buti naisabay mo ung open work permit mo
kase alam ko ang tagal din nila irelease yan eh kaya nagdecide kame na outland n lang kase wala ako gagawin nun if ever naginland ako tapos ang tagal ilabas ung owp..and maraming ngang arte kase sympre mag apply ka pa to extend niyan (if ever tourist visa) pero pag working nmaan hindi na kailangan (kase 2 years pag working dba)... saka ok na din kase magkasama kayo pero sabagay pwede nga pala iprocess outside canada kahit ung applicant asa canada hehe feeling ko matatapos ka din niyan.. alam ko last stage eh may interview parang yan na ung pinakalast na ung landing interview kapag outland ang processing.
