Thanks for replying, really appreciate that.
I have already checked with the Indian Consulate but they just do the "Reissue" of the marriage certificate if you already have one (and you want a new one) OR your spouse information is updated in your passport (which obviously I dont have) and passport can not be updated unless I have a marriage certificate. So its kind of interlinked you know.
Please advise.

Your welcome,
If you don't have any proof that u guys got married. I'm talking about papers. Then I don't think there is any harm of getting married again. Because for some cases when they reject them that their marriage is not genuine they get married once again. But a question for you why you did not come to canada but you both went to India? Atleast you guys could have went and got married on court in India. You should have planned everything ahead of time.
If you can come to canada and get married again it's better. It will be easy travelling and you don't have to spend much. If not then go to the indian consulate tell them the girl is not here. You can still get your marriage certificate. Ask for what documents you need to take with u.
For here. You need 3 people, their pictures ( passport size ) Your picture. Your 3 Id's and their Id's.
You all sign the paper and ur done.
If you have pictures that u guys were together ( not from ur marriage ) and tickets, chat logs, emails etc... Then you will face no trouble BUT if you don't have these then do not go threw the consulate because you will not have any evedence.
