Hello friends,

I will soon be getting my PR after which I will move to canada. I intent to return after some time to marry my gf. I want to know if there's an additional way of bringing her with me apart from me sponsoring her.

E.g. can she go on a visitor visa and once there we marry. In this case, will she get a PR in turn?

Please share your thoughts.

Thanks

Where are you from ?

If she doesn't need a visa, no problem, she can come back to Canada with you and even maybe apply for PR from Canada.
If she does need a visa (visitor visa) to enter Canada, she might not get it, on the ground that she might not have sufficient ties to prove she'll go back home once the visa expires. I'm seen that many times...

Being married to a Canadian or a PR doesn't give the spouse any specific immigration right. You can sponsor her, or she can apply in the skilled workers category, but that's about it.
