Hello,

I am a Indian citizen living in India. If I marry a Canadian guy can i get Canadian citizenship right away?

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

No, he needs to sponsor you for permanent residency first.  After you move to Canada as a permanent resident, you have to live in Canada for 3 years before you can apply for citizenship.  Processing citizenship takes an average of 1 year so the whole thing could be a 5 year process.
