marriage status changed since application

Hi guys i hope somebody can help me with this,
I applied for permenant residence in june 2005 and am currently working in canada on a valid work permit.
I applied with my wife and 3 children and my wife has since moved back to ireland with my children and has no intention on returning to Canada.
I have a good job here and will be staying.
Will this affect my application in any way?
