Hello,

We are waiting for our marriage certificate for over 15 weeks! It was told that there was a problem with some date and it was mailed back to the minister! Sad
It isn't register yet, but we already applied online for the certificate.

The question is, should/can we send in our application without a copy of the marriage certificate, stating that we will send it as soon as we have it?? Did anyone did this? Was there any problem??
We are going apply inland.

Thank you.

I send my record of solemnization.  It took 10 weeks for them to register and send it to us.

I would send the application in along with the letter stating that you will send the marriage certificate as soon as you receive it.  Dont have to tell them there is an issue and was sent back to minister.

Hi UK2TO,

Thanks for answering.

You were lucky.

But can our application be returned to us because of not sending the copy of marriage certificate?? Is it better sending now all the paper we have, and then sending the marriage certificate?
Or we should wait until we have the certificate, and send all the documents?

a couple of us have sent our application without the marriage certificate and 1st stage as been approved.

Search the thread "actual marriage or civil marriage" and there is details on what ppl have done....

also another member did the same thing and sent the marriage certificate to there visa office once they recieved it.

Still waiting for the certificate...

Meanwhile, we have the papers done!

One question, since we are not sending the copy of marriage certificate, but a letter stating that we will send it as soon as we have it and a copy of the record of Solemnization, in the checklist to we check "copy of marriage certificate"Huh?

Check it and then write a note on the checklist as well explaining what you are doing.
