Marital Status Change from Single to Married

Hi Folks,
Hope you all are doing awesome.

I have a quick question. I have submitted docs to Buffalo office as Single (Unmarried) status. Now, I am getting married soon. I would like to know how can I update the marital status in my application. Also, once I provide them updated forms, will they immediately consider points for my wife as well?

Has anybody done that? I checked the status and they haven't started processing my file yet.

Send the updated docs of yourself and send wife docs with all the application forms, PCC etc. Pay them the fees $550 to include her in your appplication, also send them your marriage certificate. They will count your wife points if your application is still in process but once decision is made then they dont consider it.
