It's not fair! that they give you a not re-enter visa, what if you have an emergency travel or some bussines to finish with! Anyway I guess if you have any approval from CIC they will let you get in! Good luck and please let us know!

There is no such thing as a "re-entry" visitors visa. You leave and come back at your own risk. It's COMPLETELY up to the border to let you back in or reject you.
You can get a multiple entry visitor's visa. |

It is fair. People can apply for a multiple entry visa if they want one. Otherwise they are the one that chose a one time visitor's visa and have to follow the rules they agreed to. |

Thank you Canadiangirl, just found more information about it on the cic website. Don't think the requirements are very different from a single entry to a multiple, except for the application fee. When the time is there we will decide to go with this for a peace of mind or to gamble to get a stamp again at customs, maybe Vienna is so fast we don't need one  |

Well if you are visa exempt it is even better. Pretty easy to get in with no application and no fees. |

And yes a multiple entry just costs more, worth it in my opinion! |

Can I ask you did they send a request asking for your passport to the sponsor or to the applicant...as one of my friend who was the sponsor received the request for his wife passport......
