Hi, please can you help me out here ... where is this ECAS or whatever where people go to check what is happening to their applications please? I've not received anything as yet, and judging by the comments until I do the site wont tell me anything, I'd just like to know where it is and how to find it for future reference  Only thing I have at the moment is the Receipt number. Many thanks. on the right side, under the I NEED TO in the beige table, you will find lots of imp stuff like check application status, pay fees, check processing times etc... |

Hello to everyone here! My husband and I come across these questions in IMM 5490 which is Maintaining Contact... so here is my concern:
question 25. Have you visited your sponsor during the period of your relationship? we answered NO because he wasn't able to come and visit me here in canada since he needs a visa to get here..so my concern is what is the best explanation to it that would not question us back about it..thank you
his is simple as you stated, needs a visa, but you are applying for his sponsorship, so he will be ineligible to come here once you apply on visit visa that is... for yourself, state why you cannot and have not visited so far, and if and when do you foresee a visit from you to him... and make it realistic, and do try to visit him it will be in your best interest, and claim to send that information (tickets, pics, receipts, etc) later on. and you should be fine. |

We submit last march 9 and got our approval today! Congrats dear....I am so happy to see March applicant getting approval Mine is far but I am also worried about the February Applicants who have not heard any word yet:( ssiggghhh!!!! |

the site is showing 'working on applications received on feb 15' then people getting approvals who submitted applications on march 9,...strange... well. if this goes on i hope i will also get approval in this month.. hoping for that When did you submit your application...And that website is not correct as it says Feb 15th then how does 90 days work out if March people are already getting approval but some of February are still stuck!! |

as i posted earlier... here it is again... for those of you who applied at cic-miss please note that due to overwhelming amount of files and falling behind they sent a batch of files to the ottawa pilot office (like mine)... i sent on mar 6th and they got it on mar 7th, and i got a reply from the ottawa office of approval and the information etc at the end of may... so those that have sent applications in feb and their files are still in miss office dont be disheartened, yours will be processed soon... nothing to be concerned about... wait and by end of june most of you will have already gotten your uci/file numbers... best of luck to all |

From my understanding, they wouldn't be 100% sure if you changed your name or not, so it's safe to just use the maiden name |
