Yea I completely understand how you feel. I too hope it wont delay my application if CIC request for it. Fingers & toes crossed.  Yes, we're from manila. My hubby needs to have that PCC to. hopefully it will not delay our application..

Hello Guys
I am living in San Francisco, got married to a Canadian citizen last July. Sent my application on March 31, 2012.
My spouse received an email today from the immigration people asking to submit "Welfare check"? What does that mean? What do I need to do?
I also received another mail requesting my medical form. I booked an appointment for next Wednesday with the physician here. Any tips for this health check up?

I don't know what they mean by welfare check, but as a part of sponsorship application, you should provide proof that the sponsor is not on welfare. If she has been living in Canada for past year, and if she has filed taxes, then she can ask CRA for Option C printout. Have you provided any proof of this kind? |

You submit your tax information as an alternative. It has a spot that shows if you're on welfare. |

try logging in everyday(even though you cant) but nothing goes if you will try.. as the online ecas status gets time to update so thats why. |

i really dont have any idea about the welfare check.. but the medicals ?? i heard you have to send the medicals along with the application.. i may be wrong.. but one thing is foresure that they opened your file. |

@ Jennychen1401 congrats hope you get your copr very soon as i have seen many new delhi applicants are getting their ppr requested and then waiting for so long for their copr hope as fast they request the ppr the same pace they send you the copr as well  |

am i safe in assuming that the march board is now clean and everyone has recieved aor's from where i am signed in i can't access the sheet at the moment ... but since i am seeing may approvals i would assume that march board has been cleared |
