WOW April 2. They just skipped whole of March. All marchers just call call call. you're almost there, it's hard but you will get the approval soon, this week hopefully - they have updated the website and they say "working on applications 2nd April" - so now you are officially allowed to call them and ask about your file. Maybe they have approved you and sent you a letter in the post, and you don't have it yet... but in any case, you'll hear from them real soon...

well I know of a January app and Feb 2nd app....and they both have just got their visas......and since Feb and March was so long in being processed in Canada I am hoping the are kinda bored and looking to process new files fast!!!! But according to the website I cannot contact them or should I say I shouldn't contact them for 10 months....yikes....it's only 2 weeks and I am already going stir crazy waiting for something.....LOL.....I think it will be a long haul.......hoping my husband will be here for Christmas....best present ever!!!

I was thinking the same thing.. that with the backlog in Canada.. Mexico City shouldn't have too many apps!! lol Yes we are hoping for Dec/Jan as well. Unfortunately that's the dead of winter.. but oh well well nothing like jumping in with both feet!!!! actually this past winter would have been a very good winter for our spouses to endure!!!! here's hoping with the excitement of them getting here the -40 below won't be so bad.......(who am I kidding...I hate it myself!!!)  |

Unfortunately that's the dead of winter.. but oh well haha I hope this is true. mexico city should be good if they are stuck with backlog in canada. but i wouldnt count on it haha. we got transferd to mexico city in april. and unfortunatly we havent heard a single peep out of them. hopefully they just do the applications and dont care to much to update ecase! that would make me feel much better before the end of the year would be great for all of us though!! |

yes but at least april 2 and 92 days makes sense......and I am glad for the few left in march who have not heard that they can now call and see what is going on because they now profess to be working on april apps.....not to mention the 2 may 28th apps that received aor's today.....crazy...crazy!!  |

I would have thought that when they shipped some apps off to Ottawa a couple months ago to help with the backlog, it would have helped the disorganized process and get CIC back on track...but i see by these posts that it appears the disorganization has increased....  |

I think they're changing the way they do things and emailing AORs during initial checks. I doubt the May applicants will get approval before April. I think they're finally using the new barcode system.
