Got my sponsorship approval!!! AOR received last Friday and got an email an hour ago to confirm my sponsorship!! Happy days...hope everyone gets their approvals soon!!  Congratulations!! I can't keep up !!! |

Hi cgagnon - is there a difference between CIC AOR and sponership approval? Cause I just noticed yr spredsheet there r 2 diff columns,.
AOR = Acknowledge of Receipt of your application APPROVAL = You have been approved to sponsor you may or may not get an AOR......and your approval may come by email or regular mail...... |

It's the same thing just CIC-M is Mississauga and CIC-O is ottawa AOR is acknowledgement of receipt
Okie. That clears it a bit. The letter my hubby recieved from CIC-M states that he has met the requirements for eligibility as a sponser & our app has been forwarded to the VO for further processing. So should I take it that Step 1 is done for us so far? I checked the website just nw - and it shows me desicison made - under which it mentions CIC-M recvd app on Mar 15 & letter ws sent out on Jun 21. It also shows medicals rcvd. |

Hey Jennychen can you tell me when did you receive your approval as I received it yesterday and I cant still log in? Hey pinder123, our approval ws dtd Jun 21 thursday. my hubby rcvd on monday Jun 25. We were able to loggin on monday evening (EST) itself. |

hi....they probably have not updated the site yet.....takes a few days after you receive your aor/approval.........just keep trying a couple of times a day and you should be on by Friday!!! |

Thats the clarification I've been seeking - Approval before AOR? Or is it supposed to be the other way round? The letter hubby rcvd stated he meets the eligibility as a sponser & our application file is being transferred to VO in Delhi. The letter came by regular mail. It ws dtd Jun 21 but due to weekend, hubby rcvd on Jun 25 (monday). |

thanks so also in my letter they say that they received my application on the 20th ..... do they usually wait a week to send the email that they recieved application ? |
