Hi guys! My husband got approved!!! Now on to Stage 2!!!  He got the e-mail from OttPilot-Immigration yesterday morning, June 21st. Per CIC, they received our application March 15th. I am so glad they were pretty straightforward with us in the e-mail! No need to read between the lines!  "You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing. ...This visa office was selected based on your relative's home address and the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. If you received this communication via email, please note that another copy will not be mailed to you...." And I tried logging into e-cas using my husband's UCI, and I can see my name! Woot! What a glorious way to end the week! Thank you God! congrats sis  |

actually the receipt number usually doesn't work and you don't get an ID number until your either a) receive an AOR or b) approval letter......not everyone gets an AOR.......
correct. that's why i asked. so i cannot check until i am approved, i cannot know how the application is going |

If you are a PR then it's the same UCI as the one you got when you became a PR. It never changes. So they can use their old number to login.
my wife i a born canadian so no PR number  |

hey Mamado, congratulations on getting an AOR - it doesn't mean that you are approved yet, but it means they have opened your file and working on it... you should hear form them pretty soon... some people got the sponsorship approval the day after the AOR, for others it took up to 10 days, so it's difficult to predict anything... but at least now you know that they have received your file! to be added to the list - send a private message to cgagnon, with date that your application was received, date of medical, and date of AOR. ( 22/06), and VO. Can I ask you - where was the email from ? mississauga or ottawa? Good luck for waiting! Sweden |

Hi all, I sent my application to sponsor my wife back in Feb, '12. I just got an AOR from CIC at 0105 London time!! They said the received my application on the 19th of March 2012. Could I be added to March's spreadsheet? Thanks! Big wait for the sponsorship approval now! Hope its soon!
