Hi guys! My husband got approved!!! Now on to Stage 2!!!  He got the e-mail from OttPilot-Immigration yesterday morning, June 21st. Per CIC, they received our application March 15th. I am so glad they were pretty straightforward with us in the e-mail! No need to read between the lines!  "You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. Accordingly, the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to a visa office abroad for further processing. ...This visa office was selected based on your relative's home address and the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. If you received this communication via email, please note that another copy will not be mailed to you...." And I tried logging into e-cas using my husband's UCI, and I can see my name! Woot! What a glorious way to end the week! Thank you God! |

Well just checked ecas and under sponsorship is says "decision made" letter sent on June 20th...what the hell....could they not have emailed it.....really really hoping it is in my mailbox tonite when I get home...... |

since you haven't received your sponsorship approval how can you know the ID number to login to ecas ??

actually the receipt number usually doesn't work and you don't get an ID number until your either a) receive an AOR or b) approval letter......not everyone gets an AOR....... |

Hey Buddy, if your file is in CPC-O then i am pretty sure you will get your approval by Tuesday or Wednesday...MAX... if its in CPC-M...then i am not sure what they are upto.... Sumit |

If you are a PR then it's the same UCI as the one you got when you became a PR. It never changes. So they can use their old number to login. |
