Hi,

Filed my PR application in April 2011. Got PER in May saying that file was transferred to POS VO.

I have not gotten any AOR from the POS VO to date. Do they normally take so much time to respond? It's been like 4 mths.

Thanks

Hi Guydoris,

Well when my file got transferred to POS I got word via email from Buffalo stating the x-fer. That was mar 31,2011. I have not received any AOR from POS. In July and Aug respectively, I have sent inquiries on my immigration file and I have heard nothing.  I was also told this is pretty normal coming from POS. Do not worry. Just because they are silent, doesn't mean that they aren't working. POS proceesing time states 14mths. Some files may take less and some may take more. If after 6 mths you haven't heard anything then I'll say contact them.

Thanks Admirable.

I'm kinda worried because i've changed address and jobs. I did send them this information via the T&T Canadian embassy website, but didn't get any acknowledgment.

Call or fax them the info. Remember to include your file #.
POS seems to be very quiet. It's frustrating.

Did you check your application online? I do believe that you can update your address online on E-Cas.

Hi Admirable,

I have checked ECAS alot. My status hasn't changed since May, 2011.: Application received.....  Thats it.

Apparently they don't accept or give information over the phone.

From my experience, POS rarely communicates. My file has been there 6-7mths and I have not yet received an AOR. I have tried contactin them several times and they have not responded. My E-Cas states PR Application- Not Available.

Guy Doris what I'm simply saying is to not worry. Just because you don't have regular updates doesn't mean POS isn't working on your file. They are indeed a slow visa office.  You just gotta sit and wait!!!
