jacky, how long did it take cio to return your documents. You said they returned it twice. The reason i'm asking this one, coz i got NER from cio. Are they going to return my refused documents to me or not? You know my original police clearance and IELTS was included in my application and those are really important to me.

rejection and returned isnt same thing.if ur application is  incomplete  like  jacky  definitely  u will get back everything  bt if  u  get  NER imnt sure that they will return everything.bt  surely  u wl get back ur  money.bt hope u will  get back evrything

Hi casayed, actually i got NER, i dont care about other documents coz those were photocopies but i care about my original IELTS result and original Police clearance from bahrain. You know, it's too hard to get good conduct certificate from other country especially middle east. Ohh! God help me to get those documents.

I am afraid to say that if you get NER, CIO would not return any docs  
CIO returns only incomplete applications

I didn't know that if one gets NER, nothing is returned.

This is unfair...hope such rule changes in the future as many of the documents are obtained after much efforts and expenses, all those of NO use to CIO.

I believe it was about 3 months but that was the first time where I applied before 26 June.
The second time was post June and I received back my returned application in two weeks time.
Which NOC you applied???

Hi all,

I have a bad news and a good news,

let me start first with the bad news;

Today I received my application pack returned from CIO and stating you application is not eligible for further processing. They did not provede me with the reason and said your application is incomplete and we are not fully satistied, in every form and on every section of my forms the CIO officer just put a cross. I checked it again in detail but it was neither incomplete nor I was missing any of the requirements. Any how what can I do now it was the CIO decision.

Now the good news;

yesterday I checked my mail inbox about a hundred times but there was nothing from CIO, this had a very strong impact on my mind that the above bad news was my last night's nightmare.

Once I was warking at Lords Cricket Ground London this was my firts time there, I workid 12 hours and I was checking tickets in the sand whether every one enters with the correct ticket or not, ever second I was saying tickets please tickets please..........

When I went to bad that night, I was checking ticket in my dream also.

I am on the same boat as you. I applied on 3rd March and received my PER on 11th April (see the dates match) and still waiting to hear from VO. My VO is London, so it would be great if you could update when you hear some thing. I shall as well, in case I get some news. Good luck!

I don't know if I am in right section to ask this question, even if not, please if some one can give me information.

I send my application package for Federal Skilled Worker from Saudi Arabia by DHL to CIO, Halifax, NS, Canada. I received acknowledgement of receipt via tracking section of DHL website that some one has received and signed on 24 February 2011.

But there is no correspondence or information from any Visa office.

How can I know about my status? What should I do to find my status?

Appreciate if some one can guide me.

What was your payment method? Check if they charged your credit card, or if they encashed your bank draft. That will be a good hint. If they didn't do it by now, that probably means that they will return the application to you,as incomplete.

Well It was demand draft.  I don't know it this has been encashed or not as amount was taken out of my account the moment I get this document from my bank. This amount is not returned into my account so far.

Is it a normal that there is no communication after getting application set?

Is there a way I can check my status? or ask to tell me my status?

I never get NER, I got an explaination letter about the missing documents and I just rectify the missing and sent the whole file and PER afterwards,

As you have not received any correspondence from CIO so there is no way you can check where your application is.

If you gave your email address it is also possible they have sent you an email, check your inbox or junk/ bulk folder. Or if you did not check your email it might have got deleted from the junk folder after one month.

You should check with your bank from where you got the BD orelse you may also check with the partner bank in Canada. Usually it's taking 30-40 days time for PER as we can see in the tracker spreadsheet. Most probably in your case, they might have returned your file.
