Hi casayed,  This is phani kumar, thanx for ur reply , exactly as u said , i did not get my PER, OR any thing from CIO. BUt i got this file num , But i think file num starts with 'B'  But the number which i got is starting with 'E' , im really blank with this mail from CIO, plz let me know some thing bout this case casayed, plz

All fine nos. start with Exxxxxxxxxxx. I dnt think so there is anything to worry about. When my elder brother applied in 2009, he also got the same email and only file no. Rest was sent later when he submitted full docs. But the concern is that rules are changed now. Did u send all supporting docs? and secondly ur application is atleast accepted but they require further reveiw and investigation, and may be they will ask for further docs and interview. If they wouldnt have accepted it they would have sent it back to u rejected. According to new rules only those application are accepted which are complete. As u know before it was used to send an application b4 to reserve a space and get a file no. Then the CIO sends file no and 4 months period to submit the rest of the docs. But when the docs were requested, some people used to step back because of some reasons, they couldnt provide the docs and the CIO time was not only wasted but the cap was also full. This is my idea I exactly dnt know what are the reasons for Immigration Changes. I hope this helped u.

Ya casayed, i have checked in ECAS with my file num which i have got , and it is showing like below.


We received your application for permanent residence on March 14, 2011.
 
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on April 11, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
 
The above 2 lines is which i can see in ecas status.

,, any queries casayed, i donno whether my app;ication is under process or under hold.plz let me know

if they  need  more documents from  u they  will  tell u  to send that  to  vo,so  dont b  tensed,ur case  isnt  rejected u  got initial approval

keep on eye in  ecas it may b   updated  within 1month it may show  RBVO means-received by visa office

Hi guys and girls,

Hope you all are fine, I was busy and away for the last week. And I am surprised today when I found this thread on the second page of the skilled workers category. Looks like after getting PERs you people are gone on holidays.

Any ways I still have no news about my PER, I have also requested and inquiry through CIO website but no response yet nor any email acknowledgement of receipt.

Congratulations to all new members of this thread who got their PERs and to those who's status is progressing.

I will be busy in June and won't be able to update you regularly but i will keep you informed.

Do pray for me.

one of my  friend applied on 12th april  she got per 19th may  bt she  dont  knw it!!!hahah.i  just opened her  email  account and  saw the  emil,few  minutes  back  I  was  taling with  her  and she  was  frustrated as   there was no email, hahahah,i  informed  her about the  emil just  now.she shouted in joy!!!I  m enjoying it bcoz when she  was in  dhl  for Currier I found  she didnt write  her  job  duites in the  form,that would coz  her must  rejection bt she was lucky,,actually  i  went there to  drink  coconut water and  found  her  mistake.she  is  so lucky

Wicky use this number +1 613 944 4000 and you should dial 1-2-1-2-0 to talk to a operator,they would be able to tell you about you application,they received my application on 2nd May I was just concerned abt my application as my DD has not been en-cashed also i had some mistakes  so i was concerned they checked my application and didn't find any record ............which means they have not returned the application yet............so you can call them timing is 8.00am-4.00pm.........gud luck
