[color=red]Dear all, I just heard that after the recent decision of the CHC to return all pre-Feb 2008 applicants, priority in processing has been given to the pre-June 2010 applicants who applied post Feb 2008. This would mean that the post June 2010 applicants (like me) don't stand a chance in the near future        >:(would some one confirm having heard something similar???[/color]

It is true but you are not affected by CIC's decision. Your application will be processed according to the prevailing guideline. All the best!

Hi Canada100; there is no room for your case to be delayed, you did your medical already, it's just time for background check and you will recveive your PPR, it took 5 months for me from the time my medicals were received by LVO to the time I received the request.. Don't worry at all, you are on the right track, all the best brother...

No worries brother, your PPR is on the way anytime this month end or early May. Mine took 5 months, yet you should drop them a mail asking about your current status

Did CIC check with your bank to verify the proof of funds during the processing stage? My understanding is they do it after receiving the medicals along with the cedurity checks. Or they don't do it until you land in Canada when they ask for the DD for the settlement funds at the airport? Please if some one could clarify this to me, many thanks.

I think they check it before they issue request for medicals, as because one of my friend had little short of money in the bank account, they had requested to fill up the short and give a new bank statement.

I think you are lucky enough, your things has been completed in less than a year, you applied and march 2011 and got the visa in february 2012 from london

good day. Those who are waiting for response for a long time, you can send a web request regarding your file, go to specific VO website you can find web request form there, they will reply, it worked for me, you can try it, best of luck

this is very helpful. I will try it myself next month. I will complete 90 days of waiting after VO received my medicals on 30 Jan at the end of this month. Hope I hear from them somethign different than "waiting for results of background checks"

Same here I contacted them via CAiPS two weeks ago, and they informed me that they received our MR, but our Daughters MR is missing from Londons office so they are waiting for it.
Still no updates on ECAS regarding MR, what about you?

You can send them CAIPS through Warsaw VO website, you won't lose anything, they replied to us with a couple of days.
Please keep me posted if you hear from them
