Dear Qorax, I wish you can help in guiding on how to open a bank account in Canada from Dubai.
I called the number you posted in other thread but they told me that they are not dealing with Scotia Bank anymore.. Do you know any other option?? I would really appreciate your help Captain...

I got PER+AOR on 18/10/2012. Then I checked the ECAS it is showing as “IN PROCESS”. But in all others cases it should  like RBVO, we started processing your application etc.

Is there any problem if the ECAS is directly goes to IN PROCESS without showing RBVO etc

Still Rbvo , since 27 May 2011, Address still disappeared since 27 Jan, 2012. Oh God what s going on there? Why they are not updating?

HEART BREAKING NEWS

The CIC has decised to return all pending FSW applications received prior to Feb 2007, along with the government fees. How awful and outrageous       So unfair from the Canadian givernment.

The positive part of the story is this is going to make the processing of the post Feb 2008 applications a lot quicker particularly with VOs like London which were struggling with heaps of backlogs. But the moral of the story is the decision of the immigration could be so crazy and this could happen with any one - are the post Feb 2008 applications safe? If yes, for how long? Let's pray for each other for a happy ending to our journies.      

One of my friends was a June 2007 applicant and see her luck - she got her visa last week. I heard she fell off the chair when she heard about the new development. Good luck to all
