I submitted my application March 2011 through courier.  I tracked it down, and it was received 2 days after, March 29, 2011.

I have been waiting for AOR from the CIO -- checked my email / spam everyday but still no reply from them until now(after 6-7 months).  My bank draft is already expired.  I am really worried.

Is that normal? Any advice how can i do a follow up or how I can contact them?

Did you apply yourself or through a consultant? I think this is abnormal. You should send CIO email. The address is:
FSW-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca
Please include your name, DOB, and country of birth....Good luck! Mandie

I just applied by myself -- no consultant. Thanks for the info.  I thought CIO cant be emailed or I cant call them, its only now that I learned they have an email address..

Thank you so much.  I am just wondering what happened to my application.

Just to quickly correct something; the e-mail I gave  you earlier (FSW-Centralized_Intake-Office   @   cic.gc.ca) is only for receiving PER from CIO. Use this one for sending a query to CIO:
FSW-Sydney-Search-Enquiry    @    cic.gc.ca (no space)

Umm... i already sent it and I read (in the acknowledgement email) that I should include the CIC file number, I assume that I dont have that since I havent received anything from them yet. Right?

Which address did you use? Use this one: FSW-Sydney-Search-Enquiry     @     cic.gc.ca (no space)...Mandie
